The owner is very friendly. All the painting on the wall are her own. A lot of neat gifts that are route 66 related. Only got a burger, but it was amazing! She has dogs outside that are unleashed, but they seemed very friendly. It may seem like a hole in the wall place to eat, but it’s a really cozy, comfortable place to have a nice, quiet meal. I will definitely be back!

Amazing find! The food was fantastic, and Masel is the sweetest. She treated me and my two little girls like family. This is a must visit!!

The hospitality of Masel is second to none and the pecan pie and pumpkin pies she bakes are to die for. She runs this place alone so large groups may need to give her time to prepare their orders. She has many interesting stories to share. Definitely worth stopping here.

Masel, the owner, was a lovey host. She cooked my father and I lunch, and told us some great stories of how the place came to be.

We were looking for an interesting diner, and we sure found it here. Texola OK has a total population of 15, but that might be an exaggeration! The Tumbleweed, and the church nearby, and maybe that ONE residence, were the only apparent viable structures in this tiny forsaken place!
But the Tumbleweed itself served us some delicious liver’n’onions and some good cherry pie and ice cream. The owner-cook-server is a tired but never-quit type lady who also paints an array of subjects and enjoys visiting with her customers. This stop was definitely a high point on our trip.

The tumbleweed restaurant in Arizona located on route 66 off of I-40 we made it a point to go here because we saw a documentary and the owners a woman and a man I’m sorry I can’t remember your names her animal lovers I can’t believe that people would leave their pets in the middle of the desert and these people adopted him great bunch food was great wish they would have had some place where we could stay a motel I hope they’re all right I wanted to reach out to them but their phones no longer listed all our prayers are with you and keep up the great work with the animals and the dogs

What a great little place. The food was great. I loved the branded bun and the homemade fries were delicious. Plus, the owner was so friendly and had great stories. My girls loved hanging out on the porch and petting the animals that the owner fosters. It is not a fancy place, but nice and down home. Feels like eating dinner at grandmas house. Quaint is probably the best way to describe it.
