We ordered a tomato pie and a she crab soup. Tomato pie was 10/10, the she crab was just ok.
Cute spot for a quick lunch!

I love this place! The sandwiches are delicious and made with healthy ingredients, locally sourced when possible. In addition to sandwiches, soup and various entres are available to eat in or take home, along with dessert pastries. The turkey reuben is my favorite!

Such a cute place for a tasty and wholesome lunch!!
The food:
– Cubano sandwich on sourdough: Great sourdough bread, tasty meat and cheeses.
– curry chicken salad with balsamic: I loved the curry chicken salad and the bed of greens were fresh. The walnuts and cranberries added great flavor and texture!
– Shecrab soup: GET THIS SOUP!! It is their famous shecrab soup and it was phenomenal.
The ladies at the counter were so kind, conversational and welcoming! We learned about Mary’s background and how she found her way to Warrenton.
They also do platters for large groups. They recommend calling a week in advance for large orders.

Small but cosy restaurant. They offer there food options as “gourmet to go”, or you can choose to eat on their outside patio. Inside there are some bar height tables as well. It was a beautiful day so we chose to eat outside. I ordered the Ragin Cajun sandwich and a bowl of the She Crab Soup. The sandwich was delicious on sourdough with a slightly spicy yet sweet jam and came toasted like a panini. The she crab soup was delicious, we thought we had ordered to large of a bowl but realized quickly we wanted more. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel right at home. Highly recommend and we will be back soon.

Do not expect it to be a coffee shop. It’s. A local deli like place with overpriced pastries. I am sure the sandwiches are good. It is a great setup and place to stay a while and eat familiar foods like a BLT.

Friendly, fast and tasty. Stopped in for lunch on a Friday…nice the outdoor seating…owner was circulating among guests…very personable. Will add this to my list of small-town Virginia lunch stops when traveling.

Whether it’s nice enough to sit outside at a table, or you take your food with you, this is one of our favorite places to grab a healthy and delicious lunch. I’m not even kidding when I say the curry salad is my favorite salad, and every soup I’ve ever tried there has been delicious. This place is definitely worth a try if you haven’t eaten there before!

We’ve lived in Warrenton almost 2 years, have been excited to try this place. It’s really small, very limited seating so we waited for a time we were prepared to pick up a meal and go home. We ordered two large daily soups and two sandwiches. $33 but was expecting amazing sandwiches based on the ratings. I support local so also gave a 20% tip. Total was almost $40. A lady who appeared to be a manager or maybe owner offered to put our self serve soup in our bags as we waited for our sandwich. Apparently our receipt showed we ordered two medium soups. Rather than ask what we ordered, she pointed out OUR mistake stating it was okay this time but for next time, a medium is this size pointing to the smallest of the three sizes. Wow Lady! My boyfriend threw $2 more dollars in the tip jar, which I’d rather he hadn’t. Then to top it all off, we were extremely disappointed when we pulled the sandwiches from the bag at home. Mine looked like an empty plate wrapped in foil, I was surprised to find there was a sandwich in there. And my boyfriend’s sandwich was smaller than my fist, which is tiny! We won’t go back.

Cute out-of-the-way eatery, primarily a to-go place with gourmet quality options. Limited indoor seating, but nice outdoor seating available too. I had their Tomato Basil soup and a BLT, both were terrific (they are generous with the mayo! Butter options available upon request.) Open 11 to 3pm for prepared foods, longer for pre-prepped option. Check it out!

We were excited to give this local place a try. Unfortunately, the sandwiches are worse than what you could make at home. The portions are small, the deli meat is likely Oscar Mayer or Hillshire Farms, store bought bread – albeit low quality, and very, very small portions. We ordered the kids’ Mac and cheese, only to find it was Kraft for $5, for half a cup. My wife had a prepackaged Chicken Caesar wrap, which was primarily tortilla. We spent over $30, including tip, for maybe $6 worth of food. Sadly, we won’t be going back, and we recommend you do not as well.
