Social Profile:

This building is from the 1800’s and was once used to store the dairy on the farm. Years later it was converted to 3 guest sleeping rooms, and has now been brought back to its roots as an ice cream parlor and coffee shop, also serving our famous house made fudge and pastries.

Oh this place was SO CUTE! I had to resist the urge to order some of everything just to taste. I started with coconut and raspberry ice cream & I should’ve stuck to the sample because I wanted to eat food and take the ice cream home lol it was perfect! Then I had a chicken pesto spinach wrap which was toasted and also very tasty. It was fresh and high quality unlike the food at America’s favors asterisk/dollar bill coffee shop lol I was pleasantly surprised. I also had a lemon donut which was quite literally thee best donut I’ve ever had! I had a bag of natural kettle chips and they set the wrap off. They had cute little games on the table and it was reminiscent of a quaint coffee shop in a small winter town! I loved it and will definitely be back!

My sister, an avid coffee drinker (which I should have tasted but had no room) said the expresso was mediocre and that was heartbreaking to me but she would know! She had a blueberry muffin and said it was nothing to write home about either. It’s obvious we were at two different establishments I included that because she tried things I did not and I like to be honest and neutral!

Would love to try the salad, other pastries, ice cream flavors, matcha/coffee, and cold pressed juice so it’s like obvious that I must return!!

Unsolicited advice: Press the stamp a little harder on the bag so the name is fully legible love the stamped bags though—so farmhouse chic!

This coffee shop has a stylish, upscale vibe, but the seating is quite uncomfortable. The staff are very young and still lack experience in communication and service. The coffee and croissants aren’t bad though. With some guidance and training, they have great potential to make this place much better.

I got a coffee and sandwich there and was really good. The staff was fantastic in every way. The location and atmosphere was the icing on top. The Homestead is a great place to visit. A great unexpected find in and Midway. I would recommend going there in both summer and winter for the full experience.

We did the bubble dining experience. The globe was a pretty environment to have dinner. It was raining so it was nice to listen to the rain hit the bubble and eat dinner with great company. The service was good! My only complaint was the food honestly wasn’t the best and it was super expensive. We got potato wedges, braised short ribs, roasted chicken, and artichoke dip. Each of the dishes cost about 4x what I would value them at personally. The mashed potatoes were similar to powdered mash potatoes. The wedges were covered in a sauce that I could only figure was a heap of mayonnaise. The short ribs were super tender and actually really delicious however, there was only about four bites of meat and for $40 I would have expected more than one ribs worth of meat. Overall just know you’re paying for a good environment not for outstanding food.

I’ve been here 3 times now and it’s been pretty much the same experience every time. The staff are kind enough but they are young and don’t seem to know much about coffee.

You can expect a mediocre cappuccino if you’re lucky…a whole lotta milk and very little espresso. I can’t speak to any of the food options but the coffee has been bad every time.

The Milk House is a cute little spot with rocking chairs out front, a patio in the back, and some indoor seating. They have some breakfast options such as an egg croissant sandwich, yogurt parfait, and breakfast burrito. There are also sweet treats and coffee. The product availability varies day to day (based on our 5 day stay at Homestead). It makes for a convenient and quick breakfast option, especially if you are staying at the resort.

We are enjoying a latte and a London fog at the best coffee place. This place is a gem. And they have these great geodesic solar huts for relaxing and staying cozy if you so choose. Great tile, design, and yummy coffee in the main building.

Had to stop in for some coffee while we were out and about. My son wanted to try the hot chocolate but iced, and the lady behind the counter said she would try to do that for him. He ended up with a nice hot cocoa that was delicious. We also got scoops of ice cream, which was good kind of like a soft serve. I would stop in again if we were in the area. It’s a cute little coffee shop, there’s also chess games on the tables, if you’re so inclined.

Stopped by here heading to strawberry reservoir. I got an iced Carmel macchiato and a sunrise muffin. I wanted to try a muffin I haven’t had before, the muffin was apple and carrot didn’t think I would like it but ended up really enjoying it! Relaxing atmosphere and friendly faces.

The Milk House is a pleasant surprise. The Homestead Resort is stunning and perfectly maintained. The Milk House added the something I didn’t know we needed, a quaint coffe shop with a good selection of fresh food/prepackaged food options. Everything from here was delicious. The environment is welcoming and warm.
