The Corner Cafe in Gallatin, Missouri was a great surprise. We showed up just as they were pulling an old awning out of the front window, and it was fun to see the character of the building in action. The cafe sits in the downtown area and has a rustic, country feel that fits the town perfectly.
The service was super friendly. Everyone treated us like they were genuinely glad we were there, and they were very accommodating. The chef is incredible. I wish more people knew how good the food is at this place.
We came in for breakfast and ordered several different dishes for our family to share. Every single one of them was delicious. This is the kind of small town cafe that deserves more attention. We will definitely be back.

Love the small town feel of the cafe. The tenderloin was delish and we really enjoyed the Christmas concert we were able to attend there. So fun to have live music while we ate.
The restaurant recently changed hands and they are still getting their feet under them but the effort and kindness is very sincere. We will definitely return again.

See photos. This restaurant just changed hands and the Hawaiian Lunch is a new favorite. Ate about a third before I took the picture. Generous portion of smoked kulau Pig, some of the best rice I’ve had anywhere, and a tasty macaroni salad. They were fine when I asked for extra teriyaki sauce which is their own recipe and very good. I saw quite a few customers ordering a hearty breakfast that they were pleased with. They also offer teriyaki chicken and pulled pork sandwiches. They serve enough food to fill you up. A new treasure in Gallatin and we will be repeat customers.
Update: It’s Saturday morning around 9 am and the restaurant is packed to the brim. Pancakes are terrific and more than you can eat! The hash browns were also excellent.

Great choice for breakfast all day or Hawaiian food for lunch or dinner. Pork tenderloin cutlets were ginormous and fastasticly tasty.
Wife had the terayki chicken and kalua pork, both were delicous! The new desserts were tasty and great way to top off the meal.
Super friendly staff and a growing menu make this a place we WILL be coming back to very soon.

I have been in Gallatin MO many times over the years to visit family. The most recent trip on January 2, 2026 my brother Mike and I tried Corner Cafe around 11 am. The cafe has a warm cozy feel we were immediately seated got menus. Mike had a breakfast meal. I ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich. Both meals came out in a reasonable amount of time. The breakfast was fantastic and the tenderloin sandwich was top shelf! I’m from Iowa so I’m a big pork tenderloin fanatic. I was impressed with the flavorful breading and moist texture of the pork. It came with fries which were also crispy delicious . When I come back I’m going to try the Hawaiian plate. I can hardly wait.

Great place featuring American food plus Hawaiian specialties. The service is superb & the food delicious. The tenderloins are some of the best around & you can order it as a sandwich or Southern style with gravy. Can’t wait to go back & try more menu items. PS. Only look @ current reviews.
