This place is amazing for the community. They have donated food, often some free food being served at the bar (just wash your own dish, how amazing is that!), and a great selection of drinks. If I can keep waxing on, the prices are great, too.

Sweetest people. Still recovering and renovating from Helene. My dad and I went in and they were officially closed but still welcomed us with open arms and offered us food and beverages. They were so kind and were playing guitars. Please give them a visit and be kind to them when they open back up, they deserve it.

What an AWESOME place! Steph and Greg are incredible… they took time with each of us to pick out our version of delicious beers. There selection is great and the IPAs rocked. The vibe is super chill and everyone we met was so friendly!!

What a wonderful place! You won’t be disappointed if you stop into the Cedar Mountain Canteen. I pop in whenever I’m in the area for a mountain bike ride or a hike. Dog friendly, great beer, amazing stone fire pizza, live music on occasion, knowledgeable and inviting owners. Today they had delicious vegan chili available.. yum! Thank you for sharing your homemade grub. They also run a waste free business. Doesn’t get much better! Thanks y’all, we’ll continue to come back!!

What a great surprise to run across the Cedar Mountain Canteen and Bier Garden. A friend and I were staying in the Black Forest Campground just down the road for a weekend of mountain biking. We enjoyed hanging at the Cedar Mountain Canteen two nights just enjoying their drafts and gazing at the hundreds of beers they had available in cans and bottles. The owners were super nice and very knowledgeable about the trails in the area and of course the delicious beers available. I will certainly return.

We stopped by for a cold beer after a long hike in Dupont. What a wonderful surprise! We were greeted like family, offered a free healthy meal, and served delicious adult beverages! The atmosphere was laid back and welcoming. Plenty of drink choices on hand and even a big selection of adult beverages for take out. The beer garden was charming and rustic. I’m already thinking about all the people I want to introduce to this little gem!

This is a small venue in a quart town. We’ve visited quite a few times over the last couple of years. Minimal food options but small restaurants nearby. Variety of beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages. Bring your own mug if you remember and bring a bowl and spoon for some free soup. A very special place.
