I had an incredible meal at **Ni Hao Bao Dumpling House** in Scottsdale! Everything I tried was 5/5 — especially the **Mongolia beef bao buns** — they were so flavorful and juicy with perfectly steamed, pillowy buns that hugged every bite. The savory beef had bold flavor and an amazing balance of sweet and umami that kept me coming back for more.
The **pork potstickers** were equally amazing — crisp on the bottom and packed with juicy, well-seasoned pork. The texture contrast was perfect, and the dipping sauce really elevated every bite.
For dessert, the **s’mores bao buns** were a standout — so creative and decadent with gooey chocolate and toasted marshmallow inside the soft bao. It was a fun, unforgettable sweet finish to the meal.

Finally got a chance to try Ni Hao Bao! Excellent dumplings and sauces. Fresh and homemade. Best I’ve ever had!! We pushed our luck and rolled in right at afternoon closing time (for them to make more hand made dumplings) otherwise I wouldn’t ordered more to-go. The place has a clean and cared for vibe! You can tell the ingredients are high quality and fresh as well. I was in the area, but I will be driving out of my way on a regular basis for this place.
My daughter went back the next day (additional photos). Prediction: this place will go viral! I only recommend checking hours before you go.

4 star across the board. The portions were a lot larger than I expected them to be which is fantastic. However, they don’t offer you any sauces you have to ask for them. And the miso sauce change the entire bun for the better. The shrimp were crunchy perfectly cooked. The bun was soft. It tastes steamed. Overall great experience and I would definitely come here again to explore more menu options.

We drove by a couple of days ago and noticed a new spot in the Sprouts Market shopping center at Shea & 92nd St. Google Maps showed it as “temporarily closed,” but we saw people dining inside. We called in the afternoon and were able to get a reservation during one of their staff training days.
We ordered the Asian BBQ pork belly over Zen Garden with edamame, as well as the Crispy Pork Belly over Bao Buns with edamame. The pork belly was delicious, and the bao buns were large, soft, and perfectly made.
Note: Reservations required during staff training days.
We’ll definitely be back once they officially open!

The KFC was delicious! We also enjoyed the Mongolian beef with crispy bao buns. The soup dumplings were juicy and siu mai extra yummy! The dessert bao are very fun – would recommend churro. The servers and staff were all very kind! Kid friendly & a great spot for a bite to eat. Lots of options if your friends or family have different food preferences.

**Latest : I was invited to food tasting by the gracious owners. I was full after breakfast but unwilling to pass up this invitation for I’m a glutton. Here’s a summary of my choices.
That Korean fried chicken and Mongolian steak (hope I got the name correct) were smashing. The fried chicken was absolutely tasty and crunchy. Steak was done medium. Tender and juicy. Very satisfying bites. Tortilla chips were surprisingly good with that Chinese 5 spices. Kind of thirsty so I tried the fountain drinks. I picked ice tea. Mild in flavour and slightly sweet. Then I noticed that they sold wine in cans and sake in bottles. First time I heard of wine in can. But how did I miss that? Oh well… by this time I was stuffed like a whale lying on a beach. Next time I will definitely go for that wine in cans.
If you’re thinking of new foodie adventure, Ni Hao Bao is the place to go to. Pair your food with their wine and sake, you won’t go wrong and won’t regret coming here.

I’ve never been big on this kind of food but wanted to give this place a try after it replaced the sushi bowl chain that was there. I’ve been to this location twice now and have fallen in love with their food. I’m as picky as they come regarding vegetables like onions but the sauce and preparation they’ve done for it has them complimenting the entire meal. The desserts are wonderful and the chips are uniquely addictive, the drinks are great, and the staff are clearly enthusiastic. I’ve been told this is a new business with this being their first location, I can already see them going far. Highly recommended, try out the bao buns.

I found this place today when I did a search. I saw “dumpling house” so I figured it would be Chinese dumplings. To my pleasant surprise, it was more than that. I got the firecracker shrimp bao buns and they were amazing! The bao bun was fresh, shrimp was flavorful and a huge portion! I also like the side dish option of edamame beans instead of high calorie chips or French fries that most place offer.
The quantity of food was huge. I only ate 2 of them and took 1 to go. A though for the restaurant, maybe offer 2 buns at a lower cost. I could eat 3 but I would be stuffed. 2 is a good amount.

Held a small, private holiday staff party yesterday on their outdoor patio. Since they’ve only just soft-opened, I wasn’t sure how it would go, but everything went perfectly – especially with the fantastic AZ Winter weather we love!
I tried the Mongolian Beef, KFC Korean Fried Chicken, and Firecracker Shrimp with my kids, and we loved them all. They offer a rice option, but we preferred the fluffy, soft, pillow-like bao buns. But thinking back may be we could’ve went for fried baos for the fried main squeezes… Anyhow, we have a lot more items to try!
Don’t forget to catch some ice cream for a quick, must-try dessert!
