Such a fun place!!! I was staying at Gaylord Pacific nearby and wanted yummy coffee! This place did not disappoint. The food was delish too – that egg was not joking around. Every bit as good as it looks. I took a look around the motel too and decided I want to stay here! High ratings, clean rooms, great food/coffee, near the beach and trail, in a weirdly un developed area that made it perfect for traffic and getting to it. Hidden gem!!!

Very cool, great coffee, dope staff.
I had a very nice cup of coffee at this Hidden Gem. The coffee was really good I had a cortado. It’s got a fun atmosphere and super old video games. I didn’t play any of them but it sure looked fun. The staff was chill and set my coffee up nicely. If I come back to town I’ll stay at the hotel

Only disposable cups near a wildlife preserve… All pastries stuffed in a plastic bag… Didn’t buy any.
Staff is friendly, coffee is good . Management needs to figure out how the location of the coffee skews the type of clientele that they might cater to.

I was exploring the area with my wife after visiting the marina and came across Rambler Coffee. The colors and style of the Rambler Motel caught our attention and when my wife saw they had a coffee shop, she was very intrigued so we headed over. Once inside, the place seemed very clean. The young woman behind the counter was very nice and made our drinks well. Other than coffee, there’s a fridge area with a good selection of snacks. Also, a freezer with American and Mexican ice cream favorites. There’s a little arcade area of retro games and an amazing wall art of a license plate. The place looks well maintained inside and out. There’s a pool outside but I didn’t take pictures because people were swimming and didn’t want to enter creeper status. We would definitely come back for coffee if in the area again.

I’ll definitely come back here. We happened upon it by chance heading back up to LA, and let me say, the location is amazing. It is so peaceful there and it has a great view of the ocean and nature while you enjoy your coffee. It was easy to get there to and from the freeway, so bonus points for that.

The inside was absolutely adorable. I loved the way it looked and I definitely wanted to play the arcade games and I would have if I had more time. The whole mid century vibe works so well, especially attached to the motel. I’m especially in love with the bright colors.

The coffee was great! It wasn’t the best I’ve had, but it’s leagues better than most coffees in the area unless you head all the way down to San Diego, which is definitely not convenient for when you’re on the go. The peppermint mocha I got wasn’t super sweet, and the peppermint wasn’t overwhelming. We asked for the other coffee extra hot and to my surprise they did make it extra hot.

Lastly, the service was amazing. I tried to tip the barista but because she was a manager she couldn’t accept it. Either way. She was friendly and very helpful.

What a wonderful coffee shop! I only wish I lived closer.

A nice diner spot for an early coffee and something light to eat. The decor of the place is cool along with the old school arcade games. Parking was good. Staffing was short (1 woman wrecking crew) when I came so it took a little time to get our coffee and food. My chai tea and avocado toast were worth the wait.

The coffee was not great tbh. But the place has beautiful interiors. Great design.. Also they have arcade games to play and a Foosball table. Expect a high wait time if you order a sandwich but I dont blame them since both the times we went, there was just one person working. And it is not open 24hours.

Nice spot but no self respecting coffee shop opens at 7am. Just sayin.

Those doors gotta open at 6am LATEST ya’ll. Don’t b lazy, set those alarms.

I visited this little coffee shop on my way home from work. The atmosphere is so cute! They have a small selection of arcade style games and pinball machines as well as a foosball table. It’s a perfect little spot for a first-time coffee date. While they don’t make any of their syrups in-house, they do offer a wide variety of flavors. They also showcase an assortment of pastries and other snack items. Like most coffee shops, they also offer non dairy options for your lattes, etc. My beverage of choice was an iced latte with oatmilk and strawberry syrup.
