Peaceful & quiet. Crab cakes were delicious. Ribeye was slightly under the medium rare order and the bone in strip was more medium than medium rare. Regardless the food was delicious, our waitress was attentive, and we will go back.

BEST SERVICE EVER! Waitress was on top of her tables! Never had an empty glass or a need for anything! The cooks did FANTASTIC! Food was fresh and super well cooked! 🙂 will be back for sure every time we are in atchison Kansas!!!

They over cooked my girlfriends meal then when we sent it back we received it and it was cold in the middle. As if they microwaved it. Horrible place. Server was good. That was about the best part of this experience. Would not recommend eating here. Definitely not eating here anymore. They need to train their cooks better. Definitely not the type of people I would want working for me. Goodbye and good riddence. Will not be eating here anymore. It’s worse then McDonald’s, and yet they have the dignity and respect to actually make sure they’re food is cooked. They sent it back undercooked and cold in the middle just to spite us as customers.

Seated by hostess. 35 minutes later and not even a glass of water. Terrible way to to run a service business. Was anticipating a nice meal but got nothing. Definitely would not recommend!

We went on a festival day and had a limited menu. Although there was still variety, the food was not very flavorful. We shared onion rings which were good. Salmon and potatoes were bland and salad was wilted. Steak was chewy and not much flavor and shrimp was the same. The host and servers were all very nice and prompt. I would go back to try out their regular menu. I hope it was just an off day. But very clean restaurant and bathroom.

This is my third time coming to the Riverhouse with a group and it has been my best experience yet. I was in a group of 5 and we were seated right away with waters, and the appetizers came out within 10 minutes of being ordered. Food was delicious! I got the smoked mac & cheese and my friend said the BBQ Burger stack was amazing. Our service was super fast and friendly, and the ambiance of the restaurant was great (liked the lighting and the music selections). It is a little pricey so we only come every few months (when it’s in the college student budget) but every time I feel that I get my money’s worth. 10/10 recommend!

Food was excellent! 10 out of 5 stars! If you are hungry for a steak eat here. It is good. We had the KC strip and savored every bite. Smoked Mac n Cheese was incredible. Also try the pickle wings they are heavenly, with the best Ranch Dressing for dip. The salad was also good. Again I recommend you come here for your steak.

We had an absolutely lovely dinner experience! The food was wonderful, the waitress Sharla, was fun, attentive and friendly, and the ambience was perfect. The chicken and grits was amazing and the appetizers were all unique and flavorful. Will definitely be back!
