I could have never imagined a Halal Mexican place in Santa Rosa. We were visiting the beaches nearby and on searching Halal food, this place came up.
I was surprised to see a full Mexican menu plus some Mediterranean and Afghan specialties too.
The food wasn’t just good it was amazing! Everything was extremely flavorful and came in big portions. We throughly enjoyed the food and will come back again just to taste some more items on their menu.

Great potions, the cook is from Morelos, so they have southern Mexican food. Very tasty, not greasy at all. Clean, and they have a bathroom! Brand new art hand-painted on all the walls. Ask them about their lunch specials!

We are from Sacramento and we had a day trip to Duncan’s Landing overlook and on our way back we found this all Halal Taqueria. Brother Hamza, a Mexican revert and a super duper nice guy helped us with our food ordering. He was extremely pleasant and helpful. We loved his customer service. Then the food came and it was amazing. We ordered burritos, tacos, enchiladas and fajitas mix. Everything was in the top of its game. Loved the food, loved the customer service and it was very reasonably priced. This place also offer Afghani food and we took some bolani for next day breakfast. The Afghan brother Faheem was also very kind and humble. They make a great team for service as well as two different ethnic food items. Highly recommend if you like Mexican and Afghani food. In the end we got some churros that were freshly made and were yummy.

Got a burrito from here delivered via GrubHub, and it was delivered SO FAST! It was my first time ordering from this restaurant, but I drive by it all the time and have been curious for a while. Huge burrito, tastes delicious, came with chips and salsa. I’ll be ordering from here again. Would recommend!

We tried Mexican food for the first time at ZAPATA Café, and we absolutely loved it! Every dish was prepared with great care, and the sauces were delicious. Moreover, the food is Halal certified, which made us feel even more comfortable and satisfied. We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience authentic Mexican flavors. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent. We can’t wait to go back!

From what we experienced, this is an awesome new taqueria in town. Only open for a few months now, and we were very impressed with the food.
The super burrito was a little small, but delicious. The tacos were a tad dry, but I’ll judge it by coming back next time.

This place is a great find! We ordered chicken and carne asada, and both were seasoned perfectly. The portions are huge, and the prices are affordable. For Muslim diners, all the meats here are halal, which is rare to find at a Mexican restaurant. Definitely worth a visit!
