Great burger and fries!! I loved the different sauces they offered, I went with the Maple bourbon sirracha and made the fries even better, great causal atmosphere. Great service. Maybe a little pricey for what it was, but I understand it’s gonna be like that in a place like that.

We ordered the farmhand burger and sweet potato fries, both were delicious! The fries had a good texture and were not soggy/mushy like they can be at other places. The git down sauce and fluffy bun with quality pickles made the burger top notch! Jameelah took our order and provided great customer service! We will be back!

Best gluten-free smash burger in town! Having severe celiac means that I am not able to indulge in picking up a quick meal while out on the town. I haven’t been able to eat a burger outside of home since my diagnosis 11yrs ago. T. Ralph’s has allowed me to indulge again, even with all of my allergies. The service is another amazing experience at T. Ralph’s. The staff, especially Robert, go above and beyond in ensuring that there is no risk of cross contamination. They even accommodated my soy allergy in removing the margarine. Robert and staff know what they are talking about when ensuring safety for their patrons. Highly recommended!!

Refused to provide extra ketchup and ranch claiming they were out on top of paying $20 for a burger and fries. Food was good but I did not appreciate the refusal of providing extra sauce when I already paid way too much for lunch.
Update: I just walked past on my way out and saw more ketchup being handed out. I do not appreciate the dishonesty.
Update: The owner replied to my last review and offered me a free lunch on him and provided his email. I reached out and he never replied.
I hate leaving bad reviews but I won’t be coming back

Great food, loved it. It was a bit greasy, but it is double fried fries and smash burgers, so fair.
When we walked up to order the cashier is scrolling through reddit and is obviously upset we want something. My partner starts with “Hey, how’s it-” before being cutoff by “Name?” So yeah, pretty rude staff. We later came back and had to wait a second for the cashier to finish his conversation with another employee about something funny before returning to annoyed look to take our request of a refill.
On top of the bad service the prices are a bit expensive. For the only burger they have other than the byob was 11, plus 4 for fries, plus about 5 dollars for a small drink. While I dont expect mcdonalds prices with their food being fresh made and assumingly more fresh a higher cost makes sense, but I could go to Aubreys for cheaper.
TLDR: I wouldnt say avoid this place, but definitely be prepared for about a $50 check for 2 people and some pretty rough customer service.

Absolutely PERFECT! The burger was hot, juicy, and all the toppings were fresh. But y’all, the fries are THE BEST. Both the sweet potato and hand-cut fries are the best I’ve ever had.

T. Ralph’s is hands-down one of the best places I’ve ever eaten. I’ve been three times now, and every visit has been nothing short of amazing. The food is so fresh and full of flavor that it’s hard not to rave about it. The burgers are perfect—juicy, flavorful, and made with locally sourced meat that you can really taste the difference in. And the bun? So soft, it’s like it was custom-made to be the ultimate burger bun.
Now, let’s talk about the fries. I don’t say this lightly: they’re the best fries I’ve ever had. Perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned just right. I could eat a whole basket of them without even thinking twice (and have).
Everything at T. Ralph’s is handmade, and it shows. From the care in the cooking to the flavors in every bite, you can tell this place takes pride in what they do. The staff is great, too—so friendly and welcoming.
If you’re anywhere near Knoxville, you need to try T. Ralph’s. Fresh ingredients, unforgettable flavor, and fries that will ruin all other fries for you—it’s the kind of place you’ll keep coming back to. I know I will.

This was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! The flavor was incredible, and the seasoning was spot on. The patties were perfectly smashed and cooked, and adding bacon took it to another level. The fries were equally amazing—crispy, flavorful, and even better when paired with their delicious ranch. The ranch itself was perfection: slightly runny, just the way I like it.

Love this place, I was so excited when it opened! Best fries in Knoxville by far and the burgers are BANGIN!!! You have to try the malt vinegar aioli with the fries, it’s the best. Staff are super nice and knowledgeable about the product and the food is excellent – I go way too often after a long day at work
Picture: I got the Build-Your-Own option with all kinds of toppings and the classic fries with malt vinegar aioli. When they ask if you want those caramelized onions, SAY YES!

Since my first 3 visits, I have revisited the establishment 8+ times, & I’ve had the BYOB Burger each time. They have made noticeable improvements. My orders were all correct & the burgers, I must say, were pretty dang tasty. I still think that their price point is too high since $25 is A LOT for burger and fries (no drink), but I’d be willing to guess that rent/lease at the Kern’s Food Hall is not inexpensive, & neither are current beef prices. Regardless, they have ironed out the kinks that I initially experienced, as well as deleted from this review. It’s obvious that they’ve made many improvements b/c I haven’t experienced any of the previous issues that I faced within the 6 months that they opened. I’ve been over 8+ times since they opened. That says quite a bit in itself. They are consistently very good & I will be back when I jones for a burger. Their burger is finger lickin’ good. Try it.
