DEFINITELY A NEW GEM In Traverse City.
This newly opened steakhouse in Traverse City gets a five star review for me, only because I couldn’t give it six. It is that good.
It is located at Kasse and front at the old Sparks barbecue location.
The owner, Dean, has created a very unique atmosphere. Very high class lots of pennies Create a unique designs Are located throughout the venue. Don’t miss seeing the one of both east and west Bay.
Get there this week for restaurant week to make your first visit. You will definitely want to come back and be a regular.
Food was cooked perfection. Hanger steak, scallops, Pork chop cooked to perfection. There’s also salmon, but we didn’t try it. I’m sure it’s equally amazing.
It’s not just the food it’s the staff and the friendliness. Elle With our server and she was fantastic.

My partner and I went to The Pretty Penny Steakhouse during their first week open for Traverse City Restaurant Week.
We had a three course meal and cocktails.
EVERYTHING was AMAZING!
The atmosphere was great, and i was so happy to see the name incorporated into the decor!
We loved the cocktails that we had, and they looked just as good as they tasted!
We had the pork chop, hanger steak, scallops, burrata, shrimp ceviche, and both desserts! The portions were great and the steak and pro chop juicy!! The shrimp ceviche was one of the highlights though! So flavorful and fresh!
Our server (Cliff, I believe) was attentive and didn’t try to rush us out like many do during restaurant week! Definitely recommend and we cannot wait to be back and to also bring our friends and family! This is a great addition to the scene in downtown Traverse City!

The steaks where cooked perfect in my book ! Taste was very good . Sprouts could be better … need to be cooked little more. Our friends got the wedge salad the let was brown. We live here and we have great places to eat . Will is fit in our rot. Unsure . I want to try it again but your prices are like a high end place but your not there yet ! And I’m sorry to pick on you but when your 1st impression when you walk in the door and what looked to be the owner greeting you in a jeans , flannel and a baseball hat ….. it doesn’t scream $100 a person dinner . Hope it touch’s up a few things . Will try again and hope it improves! But good steaks guys

Our server, Cliff, was very knowledgeable on the menu items and helpful as we decided that on our dinner.
The steak itself was delicious, my only wish for next time would be that it would have arrived at the table a little warmer than it did (wasn’t cold by any means, but may have rested too long). These things happen though. I did enjoy the sauce ordered on the side (Au poivre sauce, though it was a little on the thick side).
The sides were good and had decent portions to share for two people.
Dessert was delicious as well!
