Been living in the Aurora area and it’s hard to find decent Mexican food, if you can believe that! Heard about Taco Melon and wanted to try it out. My go to order for is a Taco dinner, Asada of course. Placed my order and asked for Cilantro and Onions. Got home and to my surprise they were plain, Luckily I had some at home so I chopped some up and added it to my Tacos. The Flavor is there but the tacos were very small an not alot of meat to begin with. With the dinner it comes with rice and beans but they give you very little portions I ate both in three spoonfuls. Again, flavor was there but very underwhelming with the portions. Price wise I feel I overpaid for smaller portions and didn’t add the cebolla y cilantro. The salsas had somewhat flavor but very watery. Overall I felt disappointed for overpaying, not satisfied from the food and they got my order wrong. Oh well, back for the search of good tacos in thr west suburbs.

I just want to really appreciate the Señora that took my order today. She was so kind and welcoming the minute i walked in the door. I had my son and daughter with me. She realized quickly it would be a lot to carry out the door with the baby so she offered to bring it out to the car for me. She was so sweet and even offered to do this for me whenever i needed to place an order again. I wish i would’ve got her name. Also beyond this the food was AMAZING even my picky eater ate up all the rice and beans plus his quesadillas. Thank you

This is probably one of the better mexican restaurants in the area. The owner and his staff are very welcoming, and they treat you with respect. They are the prior owners of Muñiz Tacos. The food is the same as delicious and everything has good flavor. The steak torts, the tripa taco, rajas de chile gordita were some of the things I ordered as well as horchata, which is made in-house, unlike some other make it from powder bags. They have plenty of tables to eat in and parking. I would say, definitely give them a try, and you won’t be disappointed.

Came in here instead of going to chipotle after working out and im happy i did. Please for the love of all the good things in the world try the pork tacos.. the guy running the place said they’d be good and yup hahaha he was right. I will definitely be back. i got the steak burrito too delicious. new favorite spot. they got that smokey delicious red sauce too not that marinara stuff. solid good food

I ordered in tonight due to the snow and they never disappoint. But lately it has been very disappointing I ordered a soup and once it got here they never added limes nor salsa. And it was about $32 for a soup. If we’re paying that much the least you can do is have your workers add the salsa and limes. Dissatisfied.

I’ve only had delivery so I can’t rate the service or atmosphere but the food is spot on. My favorite is the Dorados Desebrada. Crispy fried tacos with shredded beef. Delicious! I can’t wait to try other items. My dinner was packed with both green and red taco sauce as well as lime wedges. I ordered a side of rice & beans that was put in the same container with a spoon included. I don’t like that they charge a delivery fee but it’s not much and I like the food so I’ll pay it.

I live in Chicago and I stumbled upon this restaurant; the restaurant was really clean, the food was phenomenal & the service was second to none. Mexican is my favorite cuisine to eat and they knocked it out the park. I highly recommend!
