Lamar’s has some of the best BBQ & fried catfish with hush puppies and fried okra. I’m from Wisconsin and was in Mississippi visiting, I’ve been here to eat twice in the last 7days. Good finger licking slab of ribs & they taste just as good the next day. I’ll always come from Wisconsin to visit this place from now on.

We were in the area and needed a place to each lunch. A friend had said they had the best barbecue. It’s not the fanciest looking place but the barbecue is out of this world. I got the jumbo bbq plate with bake beans and fried. Hands down the most wonderful and amazing barbecue around. I’m getting married this next month and they are gonna cater bbq at our wedding!

We never got our food. We called and ordered 3 plates and were there to pick them up 20 minutes later. Our food wasn’t ready and every customer that came and ordered after us got their food and left. After 20 more minutes of waiting we just got in the car and left.

BBQ was awesome! I was passing through town and was craving Barbeque and Lamar’s did not disappoint. They were quick and so friendly. Will definitely be back passing through town again! Fries were also on point!
