I have always been pleased with ordering pastalaya here…until I purchased a small bucket for our New Year’s Day guests. I also asked for extra meat, which the owner of the franchise allows. But when we opened the bucket, it was probably 10% meat and 80% pasta. We were very disappointed. Maybe it was my mistake to ask for extra meat and maybe I should check before I leave. Our experience there is usually very positive.

Jambalaya was delicious as usual but it did seem like it had been in the warmer a while longer then it should have. Service was awesome. We got a mix of chicken and pork.

With all the craziness from the recent weather, I didn’t realize I was completely out of my back stock of gumbo until Sunday. By the time I made it to one store—and then another, and another—I knew I was out of luck. No chicken, no sausage, no hope of making my own gumbo. But Monday evening, on my way home from work, I decided to stop by The Jambalaya Shoppe in Brusly, and let me tell you, it was the best decision I’ve made in a while!

The gumbo was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. It was exactly what I needed to save the day (and my week!). The convenience of grabbing a bucket without compromising on that homemade quality was a lifesaver. I’ll definitely be back, and next time, I’ll know where to go first when I’m in a gumbo pinch!

We ordered a take out dinner…… I got the sausage and chicken jambalaya and my husband got the pork and sausage jambalaya……. It came with white beans, potato salad, and a dinner roll. It was delicious and the prices are great for the amount of food they give you. Sorry I didn’t get any pics but I will definitely be going back. The service was great and the atmosphere was welcoming.

I ordered Tuesday’s special which was pork roast with rice and gravy and there were literally two sample sized pieces of meat on my plate. It was more like a rice and gravy plate with 2 sides. Literally no meat as you can see. I am not sure if this is the normal portion size or if they ran out of meat and just didn’t mind to ask me if I wanted something else instead . Their food is normally good.

On behalf of my homeboy, I’m leaving this review. He has decided he’s a Muslim and he asked several times if there was pork in the food and they said no, and then he started eating it and he looked at the sausage and he went and asked the lady and he’s like is this pork and they were like yeah if I could leave zero stars, I would

I’m a french canadian trucker, it’s my first time visiting Louisiane and I always wanted to try the food of my distant relatives louisiana acadians but I wasn’t here long enough to visit an actual decent restaurant so I ordered from this restaurant with Uber Eat and god knows this food was disappointing, I’ve ordered combo#1 wich included a gumbo soup, jambalaya rice and so called crawfish pies(I’ve never had crawfish in my life)… The soup was so salty that I had to drink 2 bottles of water while trying to eat that soup wich I ended up throwing out of the window and the chicken on both jambalaya and soup was DRY and bland… Otherwise the jambalaya rice itself wasn’t bad nor fun to eat, same for the crawfish pies who just tasted like bad pork empanadas with a taste of crab.
The bread pudding tasted good but was dry as well.
Honestly I feel like I have been served “yesterday leftover with lot of salt on it” branded as “cajun food” , I will have to wait for my next trip to Louisiane to have decent Louisiana acadians “cajun” food

I’m from Texas and I was looking for some good soul food. I found great tasting food and amazing service! I told the gentleman at the front counter that I’m from Texas and never been there. He brought me some delicious food to sample. Originally I was just going to buy just a sausage link but I ended up getting the pork jambalaya bowl. So good!!!
