“Small Towner” bun was toasted which made it better in my opinion smash burger crispy and delicious toppings were fresh and the fries cooked perfectly.
We were seated in only about five minutes and scored a perfect table right in front of the band. The DuVenky Code band was awesome—their music really elevated the lively atmosphere. The recent remodel looks amazing; the place feels fresh and inviting.
We started with an appetizer, then shared a chicken bacon ranch quesadilla and a mushroom & Swiss slider. Everything was delicious, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Service was quick and friendly too.
Our total bill came to around $40 (we stuck with water), which felt like a pretty good value. We’ll definitely be back soon—highly recommend checking them out!
. Before I begin, the food itself is fine. I wouldn’t say it’s worse than any other similar restaurant, very typical American diner style food.
I had their signature burger, “The Barn Burger” a coke, a chocolate lava cake, and a side of fries. The burger was quite tasty, albeit a bit small for the price. The fries were indistinguishable from a bag of frozen oreida crinkle cut fries you can find at any super market. The coke seemed mildly flat. The lava cake was not the best, it came with a piddly amount of vanilla ice cream – less than a full scoop I’d say. The cake itself tasted generic, pre made, but wasn’t bad.
Atmosphere wise, it seemed to model itself after a sports bar, but the name implies (to me at least) that it would be British pub style food, and the choice of country music made it rather confusing. (I expected classic rock or alternative music)
Staff was mostly friendly, my only real issue was the wait time; I waited almost 50 minutes for my food to arrive and then an additional 15 for the lava cake that had been forgotten. I will say they had several large carryout orders and as I waiting the dining room filled with more and more people that contributed to the long wait at no fault of the staff.
Overall Cheeky Monday’s is a fairly decent place with slightly above average food, but I personally prefer other local restaurants that offer a more unique menu than Cheeky Monday’s provides.
Overall, my bill was about $30. $16 for the Burger, coke and fries and $8 for the lava cake.
3 people. Drinks were never refilled, literally not once. And when the food finally came it was cold and hard. Like clearly had been sitting under the warmer for an hour. A dark hair lady came by and talked to us. After politely expressing our experience, she seemed to have an attitude and dismissed our feelings. Still ended up paying full price. Would not recommend, not at all friendly. Cheeky, aka rude, is definitely the vibe
