The people there are great and it’s quick and convenient if you don’t care about reading ingredient labels. The grilled chicken, broccoli and rice meal somehow had 20+ ingredients. The only thing gluten free you will find is the salad. It’s too bad because places like these are needed and I understand the 5 star review hype. Most people don’t care about ingredients but I have to pass on this place because I do!

We hear What’s for Dinner was great. So, we opted for the Thanksgiving Meal for 4 @ $75. It came with what was supposed to be yeast rolls, but were NOT; mac-n-cheese; turkey; green bean casserole & “corn bread dressing and gravy. THAT WAS IT! First of all, we were told it was “heat-n-serve”. It WASN’T! HAD to literally COOK everything as long as if you made it from scratch, except the rolls, which were hard rolls, NOT soft yeast rolls. This was the WORST MEAL MY husband and I have EVER eaten! And the WORST Thanksgiving meal we have EVER had!!
Turkey tasted like “veggie meat”. Mac-n-Cheese tasted like it wasn’t cooked long enough; Green Bean Casserole tasted NOTHING like Green Bean Casserole, it was awful, with some “thick sauce”. The corn bread “stuffing” was thick and dry, with no taste!
I almost CHOKED on it!
The ONLY thing that was even remotely good was the gravy!!
I will NEVER go back to “What’s for Dinner”, NOR would I EVER recommend this place!!
The BEST thing we had was the Pumpkin Pie/Cool Whip that ACTUALLY came from Walmart, beforehand!
We were NOT going to pay $20 for a Pumpkin Pie at What’s for Dinner! And I’m glad we didn’t. We enjoyed the pumpkin pie/cool whip VERY WELL!!

Do not miss out on this awesome tasting, time saving opportunity. The maple glaze on the French toast breakfast casserole is so good it should be illegal in 45 states. Best idea for friends who are ill or taking care of parents. So easy, so yummy and affordable!!

We’ve tried a little bit of everything from What’s For Dinner! Spaghetti, meatloaf, poppyseed chicken, bang bang chicken, quiche, and some sides!! Everything has been so delicious. We met Mom and son at the Pooler location and they were so helpful and sweet. They’ve taken the guesswork out of trying to figure out “What’s For Dinner” every night, allowing me to pop a delicious homemade meal right in my oven – WITH LITTLE CLEAN UP! AND kid approved?? We’ll definitely be back! Again and again…
