We waited about 30 minutes just to get drinks from the bar and another 30 minutes for our food which came out cold. Our waitress was very kind and clearly doing her best but the restaurant was extremely understaffed and it showed. We spoke with the manager and she handled it professionally by comping our meals and having everything remade. I appreciate how she tried to make it right. This location really could be a great place if they had adequate staff because the service team that is there seems to care. Right now though the wait times make it a rough experience.

Came in with my parents last night and i felt like everything was great. I had the fish and chips, while mom and dad had the riblets and the bourbon chicken and shrimp. Food came out fast and hot! I really liked the fish, it was nice and crispy on the outside and moist on the inside! Parents enjoyed their food as well. Our sever Andrel i think it was, was friendly and had a good presence about him. He checked on us often and made us feel attended to very well. Will definitely come by again one of these days!

Glasses are dirty. Staff is friendly. Ribs are dry and over spicy. Manager said they have their own recipes and don’t follow Applebee’s corporate recipes.

What a terrible experience! Being in Brookfield and a newer restaurant, I was expecting better service. Our waiter took our order, after 20 minutes he’s disappeared and was nowhere to be found. After another 25 minutes, I asked another waiter to grab him and he just stood there. My husband and I walked out. What a disappointment. I was so excited to try the new burger. Do better!

Upon arrival we were seated by the person who would become our server. Devon was a delight from the beginning. He waited patiently while we decided, checking on us and helping us decide. The food came out hot and delicious. Definitely a change from other locations we have been to. But the highlight was our server Devon. Definitely visit the Applebee’s/Ihop combo in Brookfield if you are looking for great food and even better service.

Where to start.. I’ve been here a handful of times since the reopening and the service has gotten worse and worse every time and we will not be back unfortunately after this last experience.
It’s like the staff has no desire to make money. They were in no rush to greet us at the door. 3 people said “Someone will be right with you”, took 10 minutes just to get sat when there were 6 people working and only 3 tables were being used. We finally got sat and it took another 10-15 minutes to be greeted/drinks ordered. I saw another table get up and leave because they weren’t being helped at all. The place looked a mess, crap all over the floor and used dishes still on a bunch of tables and the bar.
We ordered drinks, appetizers, and our meals all in one go because we knew it would take way too long to get an order in. My french onion soup came out with cold cheese still on top. And when my meal came out, it was ice cold and reminded me of a TV dinner. No where near worth the $70 we spent here.
Looking around the restaurant, there was no team work, no communication, and no hustle. The restaurant started filling up and so many tables were having the same experience.
I used to be a server and I was ready to jump in and show these people how to do their damn jobs. Just pure ridiculousness. Good luck if you go!

This is the weirdest Applebees I have ever been to. The service is so bad. They are extremely slow too. I ordered for togo and still waited 20 mins bc the first time I went there I ordered my togo at the bar and I waited 20 mins before someone came to take my order even though I was literally the only person at the bar. Then it took 30 mins for my food. I got a free drink. Cool. But my pick up order shouldve been ready 20 mins ago and I have been sitting here for 10 mins already. I ordered at 4:50pm and its almost 6pm. My order was supposed to be done by 5:10-20pm. Now there are no servers to be found. And the one I told I had an order I had to repeat myself 3 times because she acted like she was deaf. Now she finally got someone and they don’t have my name on the order and she keeps asking me to spell my name. I only ate here bc I was staying at the hotel connected to it. I wouldn’t even come here if I was bored.
Update I paid for extra sauce and of course what I paid for is not in here. I really wish places like GrubHub and Uber would not allow these places to charge extra for sauces because then they never put them in the bag and there’s nothing I can do about it except I just spent money that I didn’t even get my product for

Thank you for the food poisoning!!! We stopped in for dinner on Thursday 2/12/26 & that was our first mistake. We hade hoped that things had changed since IHop had partnered up with Applebee’s at this location in Brookfield but the only thing that seemed to change was the service. Our server was Kai & she was friendly & attentive, that’s where anything good about this experience stops. One guest ordered the fish & chips, they brought the plate out minus one piece of fish because it was still cooking, the fries were cold & the fish they did bring out weren’t even hot. Another guest ordered the 8oz. steak med-well, it came out VERY WELL done, nothing was hot on the plate, they also ordered a side order of onion rings & they tried to charge us for a full order. The third guest ordered a FULL RACK OF RIBS replacing the fries with onion rings, they served this guest an obvious 1/2 rack of ribs (6 bones) that were over cooked, dry & flavorless, doused in sauce vs the menu description of glazed, nothing on the plate was hot. It was brough to the waitresses attention that a side order of onion rings was ordered not a full appetizer order which & that they wete charging for a full rack of ribs when they didn’t even serve a 1/2 a rack. The waitresses went & talked to the manager & she came back with an adjusted bill of $5 off & said the manager said if that wasn’t good enough we really weren’t going to like it if they have to come out to have to talk to us because the adjustment will be put back on the bill. This location has ALWAYS had issues with food quality has always been bad because the kitchen staff obviously has no clue what they are doing & the management does not care as long as they continue to receive a check for as long as they can manage to keep this location open. It’s obvious that changing or adding to the name of this restaurant hasn’t done a thing to change the the lack of quality in the food coming out of the kitchen at this location or the poor management of it. This was the worst dinner choice I seriously don’t how long this place will stay in business with this poor of quality of food & their lack of care.

I dont think yall should have combined with Ihop. My chicken quesadillas was made wrong, I sent those back. My pasta was over cooked, dry, etc. I wasnt about to send that back too. The restaurant was slow, but I was still there over an hr because our waiter barely came around.

This location was definitely something different. To begin with, I’d like to say the positives; Mike H(trainee) and Devon (server) were amazing. They worked perfectly as a team and were definitely working their butts off. Also, our food was VERY good! We had chicken wonton tacos, the pancake combo and waffle combo. Food was hot and fresh. We were in and out within 45 minutes, which was very surprising given the amount of people working.
The negatives: I literally only saw one server on the floor for the entire restaurant. One (And the host in training). That one server had 14 tables at one point. That’s beyond ridiculous. I’m aware they were having their holiday party, but that should never happen! I also saw a few people helping Devon that weren’t even clocked in. Now, while my experience was positive, I saw many tables waiting and waiting for refills, drinks in general, and wanting to cash out and not being able to because once again, one server had 14 tables. Shout to Mike and Devon for rocking it!
