Amazing food, drinks and staff! Came out to try somewhere we haven’t been and it was the best decision to come to Jack Pine Saloon. We were welcomed by staff and regulars alike, drinks were stiff.
However, all of this was overshadowed by the food. This is my plate and my fiancé’s, he got bluegill with cheese curds and coleslaw with the obligatory roll. I got garlic grilled shrimp.
His bluegill was not heavy with breading and grease – it was light and flaky and not the overpowering smell of ‘fish’. The roll was fantastic. The cheese curds were again not heavy with breading or oil.
My shrimp was mouth-watering, remember I said I got garlic grilled – I got fresh minced garlic grilled shrimp. There was a minimum of 2.5 tablespoons of garlic on my plate which was yummy!
I promise, head out for a meal doesn’t matter what you pick I believe it will be delicious!

It’s a good day
The service was a little slow, but I believe they just got a big order in. I order the 3/4 pound bigger and split it. Let’s just say it had so much flavor,I can’t wait to go back.

Went for fish fry the eve of deer gun season 2022 . Attended with my niece and her boyfriend . ( they are regulars ) Absolutely loved it ! The whole lodge look gave it a feel good charm. Have to tell the truth , service was slow .. but it was extremely busy . And ..the fish was worth the wait . Will go there pretty often from now on !

Went to Jack Pine Saloon because of the reviews. This is totally a bar with a pool table. We ate at the bar because there are few tables. I had the the walleye and my wife had the bluegill on a Friday night. I didn’t expect the great service or outstanding food. Both of our fish dinners were exceptional. So far, best place for a fish dinner in Adams/Friendship. Definitely will be back. Also, they make a good Old Fashion!

Don’t let the outside fool you!!! There wasn’t much for seating but very nice inside and the food was fabulous. We had grilled ribeyes, real mashed potatoes, salad, mushroom soup AND dessert that we had to take to go as we were too full! Everything is homemade, and steaks are hand cut. The staff was also wonderful! A hidden gem for sure!

Amazing food. And wonderful staff…and it’s the only local restaurant that serves escargot (I know, I KNOW most people locally don’t want to try it…but it’s GOOD).
Aside from the escargot the food is amazing… supremely surprising from a “small town bar”.

Jack Pine food is excellent. My girlfriend loves the stuff zucchini. Our meals are always fresh and prepared properly. Because it is a smaller business, you do wait a bit longer for food. This is a good thing because it’s made to order not prepackaged junk

1st time ordering fish from here, baked & fried cod. The kitchen got one salad wrong. Ordered one of each, both were coleslaw. Broccoli salad was other one offered. Ordered potato pancakes for one. Had to wait at bar because kitchen thought fries were ordered. Fish was on small side so glad ordered 3 pieces for each . BUT…..everything was really delicious!! Definitely would order again.

Had a rib eye steak. Just terrible. Hard to chew. Way under cooked. Too much fat on meat. Server was very friendly, but had a hard time getting orders straight. Won’t be back.

They have the best fish and German potato salad in Adams County. And my kids loved their 3/4 lb burgers. The burgers ant dry. They’re nice and juicy and they come on. I think it’s a pretzel bun.
