Cute lil place with a pool table, dart board and a few slots. Very homie and friendly place for locals and out of town folks like us. Lindsey is a great and friendly bartender serving with a smile always. New owner Nate is pretty cool too.

“Ward, you were a little hard on the Beaver..”.
I have heard tale of small Midwest towns that you can comfortably leave your doors unlocked, the locals quickly know you by name, and it literally feels like you’re in one of those T.V. land towns where riff-raff is all but non-existent. Whelp, Wheatland Wyoming is just that…
..and in this small town, located smack dab across the street from the majestic town hall and courthouse, is the Landmark Bar. If you’re looking for a T.V. Land bar like “Cheers”, this is the place. It’s quaint, friendly, perfectly priced, and worth stopping in. Of course, it seems like it might have the potential to get absolutely hootin’ hollerin’, rootin’ tootin’, slap your grandma and give Pappy some moonshine on a Friday night around 9 p.m. type of vibe, but it never seems to get out of control. Personally, I think it’s probably the hippest place in Wheatland, if you’re looking for the cool kids…
..and it took me forever to understand “Wert der Ferk” on the classy characters they have graffiti’s in the back.. ..but that’s another story. Stop in.. ..you’ll be glad you did.

Very nice little bar! The bartender was very friendly and she made a great Gin & Tonic. The locals made my husband & I feel right at home when we stopped in during our journey. We were also entertained with stories about the building’s history and ghosts. If we’re ever in Wheatland again, we’d definitely stop in.

It is was awesome my boyfriend and I stopped in after we got done working to check out the machine’s. I was down to $3 bucks and walked out with $50.00.
The bartender was nice, as well as Nate for fixing my machine after it froze up on me.
Then we headed back home to Cheyenne.

Everything about this place is amazing. The owners, the bartenders, and the patrons are nothing less than welcoming. I worked in wheatland for 3 months and this bar was my home away from home. I could go in at 8am and drink coffee and play cribbage or come in on my nights off and have a good as hell drink and conversation

It is a bar plain and simple with emphasis on serving alcohol unlike many small town bars which also serve as the town’s cafe/kitchen. We had to take one star away because one of the customers was rude to us when we asked if this place served food. That was uncalled for. We visited September 2022.

Tight knit group. We were here for business and stopped in here. They were having some kind of party on the square. Small bar and they still smoke inside. We ended up staying so night.
Thanks for the hospitality!
