Hands down, the best sushi in Cape Cod.
A lot commenting about the owner’s attitude, I’ll politely disagree. The first time we went there was to eat in. Before sitting she immediately informed us it’s minimum $25 per person. I really appreciate that. Better than sitting down, look at the menu, know what you gonna order and then someone comes up to you (usually with a fake smile) telling you about a min $ order.
Since then, I kept coming back and came across nothing but kindness and excellent, fresh food at a great price. Highly recommended

We called in advance inquiring about the all you can eat, to which the lady responded that it’d be 35$ and we said great we’ll be there shortly and she then ended the conversation. Once we drive all the way out to their restaurant it turns out we needed a reservation and cannot get all you can eat without one. If it was packed I would’ve understood, but there was literally 1 family in there and since we had just called in earlier, I expected to have the all you can eat. She turned us away in a cold manner and failed to explain to us why no one mentioned that we would need a reservation for all you can eat over the phone when we initially called. Additionally, the atmosphere of this place was similar to that off a low end unclean fast food place. Definitely no place to be dropping 40$ on food.

They have a sign on the street saying “all you can eat sushi” and pointing at the place. But when I got there, even tho’ it was empty with not one single custumer, they said I needed a reservation. To be honest, that’s not the problem for me. But they were rude, didn’t even explain how it works or care to give the number so maybe I could call and make a reservation for another day. The lady there looked at me like I was crazy, the sushiman with a straight face staring me down. Definitely a terrible experience.

Should have read the reviews first. On a Saturday night just past 6, got the $25 minimum speech others have delivered very brusquely, after the server just stared blankly at us with a “what are you doing here?” expression as we walked in. It would be easy enough to hit the minimum but I didn’t have any interest in staying or spending money there after that reception. If they only want to do takeout (which seems like the idea), get rid of the tables and put up signage and just be nice about it.

(Also, the all you can eat sushi, but only with reservations, is equally silly/off-putting.

The sushi is great very good price for the quality. We asked to eat in and the woman told us $25.00 charge per person to dine in. So I would say great for take out but just don’t ask to eat there. The sushi chef was a very friendly and food was ready within a few minutes.

I recently dined at HomePort Sushi and Kitchen and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The food here is truly exceptional, easily deserving a 9 out of 10 rating. Each dish, especially the extra spicy tuna rolls, was crafted with great care and skill, showcasing both flavor and presentation.

What really set HomePort apart, however, was the service. It was nothing short of perfect, meriting a full 10 out of 10. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to care about our dining experience.

Whether you’re a sushi connoisseur or just looking for a delightful meal, HomePort Sushi and Kitchen is a must-visit. Their combination of exquisite cuisine and top-notch service makes for an unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommended!

Great food that arrives at the table very quick. Just in case you are not spice tolerant, a lot of the sushi that is fish on rice comes with wasabi already on it. This place is just tucked in a little office building and is pretty small, but the staff are friendly and care about the quality of the food.

This wonderful place is tucked inside what looks like an office park or condo complex. The owners/chef are very passionate about the freshness and flavor, and created a nice experience with personality. They offer “all you can eat” for a price, and although we went with specific orders, we may need to try the all you can eat option next time!

Homeport is really the only authentic sushi place on cape. The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming, the fish is always always fresh, and the menu is the correct size for good quality. The people complaining about the atmosphere have never been to Japan. This place nails it. The prices are what you should pay for consistent quality–no complaints there. If you want a cheesy sushi buffet to stuff your disgusting no-taste bio-hole go elsewhere losers.

Stunned, actually. The rudest hostess (owner?) I’ve ever encountered, twice. First time she asked our table if we had manure on our shoes because my daughters were dressed in equestrian attire for their horseback riding lessons. Very unfriendly. After we left, she made a point of closing and locking the door immediately after we left the building. Second time months later we decided to try again in case she was just having a bad day before. This time she greeted us with “I am closing in 40 minutes so only takeout”. Didn’t thank us for coming in or welcome us or smile. And immediately closed and locked the door when we were 5 feet out the door. Never coming back. Beware. Sushi was actually good though, hence two stars instead of zero.
