This was a good Sunday early afternoon find in Cherry Creek, as many of my other go-to cocktail spots in the area did not open until later. It was easy to get a table on the rooftop, and there was table service. Overall, cocktails and service were average – not excellent, not bad. Definitely not a deal, but typical Denver cocktail prices with lots of added fees.. For four of us (1 cocktail each) it was close to $100 all-in. Cute location and rooftop vibes.

If you love extra fees on your bill, this is the place for you. Be prepared for $15-$20 wine/cocktails followed by automatic 20% gratuity and multiple taxes on top of that.
On top of that, they had construction happening (literally a tile saw going up until we left at 10pm) and didn’t mention a thing about it.
The bartender was kind and understanding but overall a pretty lackluster experience for what you pay.

This was my first time to Rare Bird sine they open the rooftop pizza kitchen and it was amazing! We went for one of their Bird Dog nights and enjoyed pizza and drinks on the roof. I got the mushroom pizza and it was Devine! I’m vegan and by leaving off the cheese I got a delicious vegan dinner full of flavorful veggies. I highly recommend!

We didn’t stay at the Halcyon, but we got a resort day pass for the rooftop pool. WOW, what a gem! The pool itself is small and really only meant for dipping to cool off, but there is also a hot tub, umbrellas, and ample seating. The bar itself had an incredibly fun menu that our group fully enjoyed (frosé slushy not pictured), and it was such a good time that we canceled our afternoon plans to stay there for a while longer. Great views. Fun semi-tiki feel. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Cannot recommend enough. Cocktails are stellar, my fave is the silly goose, it tastes like happy clouds. Atmosphere is perfect. Staff is immensely welcoming, friendly, helpful, and just so kind and delightful. Didn’t have the food but would love to. The garden aesthetic is such a vibe.
