Every time I pass through Pipestone, Rico’s is my first stop. The people there are genuine, friendly and have a great menu to choose from. This is as close to authentic as you’ll find in the area. The food is fresh, prepared fast and is delicious. The prices are very reasonable, and you will not be disappointed. I’ve only dined in, I imagine take out would be fine also. They have their own sauces too, two choice that I have tried, mild and spicy. Awesome toppings. Can’t believe anyone gave this eatery anything other than a 4 star at worst….you don’t know food! Family friendly and super service staff.

Taking a road trip today and saw this little joint. I made an immediate U-turn to check it out. Fantastic joint! Best el pastor that I’ve ever eaten. Great tacos and I have tamales for later. Awesome stop to make!

Food truck came to our local farmers market. We had cheek meat tacos and a burrito. The meat was very tough, lots of gristle, gamey taste, and didn’t seem seasoned at all. I was excited for authentic Mexican food, ended up very disappointed. Overall, would not recommend.

Cute little place great for take out. We tried the carne asada fries and all I can say is I am going back tomorrow they were soooo good. The tacos are amazing and now my stomach is happy!

Quality, authentic Mexican food. Clean seating area, and helpful, friendly staff. A gem to find such authentic Mexican food in such a small town in rural MN. We especially loved the carne pastor, ground beef, and steak tacos.

Horrible service, got orders wrong and didn’t bring my extra order of limes after asking them 3 times, quesabirrias tacos were super soggy, super greasy and the birria juice tasted More like metal, horchata is not original and is super watery.

Delicious and unique menu. I like the carne asada fries. Small dining area, but quiet. Most customers are carryout. No public restroom. Beverages are canned or bottled, including water. Friendly service. Spanish or English.

The Pipestone area is beyond fortunate and blessed to have such a wonderful Mexican eatery in town. The family owners make everything themselves, and believe me when I say that the grandma’s enchilada sauce is something special.
I personally always get chicken tacos, but I just recent tried their steak. As someone who isn’t too big into beef in general, I say that their steak is phenomenal and full of flavor.
Even if I’m broke, I still find a way to get Rico’s at least once a week.
Thank you for being such a unique part of our community, and thank you even more for your fabulous eats!
Also, I don’t know what the deal is, but they also sell these packaged gummy bears that somehow taste better than practically all others I’ve ever had. I don’t question it, though. I just keep getting them. 🙂

Awesome tacos! The portions are a little small but I usually get the torta which has a big portion. Would definitely recommend

Delicious. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something yummy to eat for the road. Nice family business.
The chicken quesadilla was filled with tender flavorful meat and the tacos el pastor was crazy good. This is the place we’ll stop again when we pass through Pipestone.
