Best bar in Mississippi!!! My friends and I stopped in on our road trip to Alabama. Some of the greatest people we’ve ever met. We felt like family everyone was so welcoming and fun. They have a game where they hide Woody from Toy Story around the bar and if you find him you get a free shot. The drinks were amazing and great price. It’s a must do stop if you’re ever around the area.

We went here on Labor Day on the recommendation of “Karen” who met in our local, great land lord Jeffrey who was extremely kind, gracious, great food provided by the bar, absolute fantastic road house bar. Great bar tender Michelle is highly recommend this place to any decent nice bar and music aficionado. Thanks for having us. Sign your dollar and stick it on the ceiling.

Hi, my name is Larry Coates but everybody calls me Ti. I play in the band at Moonshiners, the Coates Brothers Band. We play live every Saturday nite and have a great time. The atmosphere at Moonshiners is laid back and friendly. A great place to go to unwind and listen to live music. (Southern rock) come jam at mississippi moonshine tavern with the Coates Brothers this Saturday night and every Saturday nite at 6pm! The bandstand is outside with plenty of seating or you can dance to the music!

Cold beer, great prices – cash ONLY beer ONLY bar. Has 1 pool table. Inside and outside spaces. Great place for locals to kick back and not deal with tourists. They have one of those juke boxes you can play from your phone. They have live music on the weekends. Pretty awesome!

We are from out of State and stopped by here. What a warm and wonderful welcome we received. We immediately felt the love that Laura and Jethro ( the owners ) give out to their customers. It felt like a great big family . Anytime someone entered the bar we were introduced and again was given a warm hello . My husband and I had fabulous conversations with good people here. We absolutely recommend this place. If we could we would give it endless stars.

Everyone was incredibly friendly. My only issue was the cigarette smoke. I think we were the only people there not lit up. But with that said, I believe I must have inhaled a pack while there. Loved their sweet pup, he was adorable
