Where to begin… The friendly atmosphere, clean environment, the best chefs or the most delicious sushi I have ever eaten in my life. The sushi rolls here are something summer sunset dinner memories are made of. What a place for a cozy out of season date night. The Google reviews here were the reason we picked this place. I hope my review will be a deciding factor for other reviewers. This is by far the best place to get Sushi in Long Beach Island. Just watching the chef make the rolls was so entertaining and enjoyable. The ambiance is a perfect setting. This is more of a take out place but they have a bunch of seats at the sushi bar to eat which is what where we sat. The owners wife is very knowledgeable and super friendly and was working side by side with both chefs. I will not only be back but will be a yearly regular during my stay on the Island.

Not cheap, but really outstanding sushi isn’t cheap. Very fresh, perfect rice, crisp nori & a couple of creative items not on the menu. Only place on Long Beach Island I’ve found to know what Omakase means.

I’m a huge mango fan, and the specials were right up my alley! I watched them slice and dice the sushi in front of me, and the rice consistency was perfect! The flavors in the Mango Spicy Tuna and Mango Ahi Tuna were out of this world. One was garnished with jalapeno and the other had a sriacha mayo sauce in it. It was a perfect balance of flavor and spice. The staff were also wonderful and knowledgeable to talk to and made the experience that much better! I can hardly wait to go back for some Poke Bowls!

I love this place. The quality of the ingredients is really high, presentation is lovely, and the food is delicious. The poke competes with the best of them, and what little sushi I had was great. I was particularly impressed that the tamago was homemade. And it was delicious.

First time in MY ENTIRE LIFE I’ve been kicked out from a restaurant. I ordered at the counter and my girlfriend and I were planning stay to have lunch. After a few minutes we ordered the cashier asked us if we were planning to stay, he just spoke and the main chef told him rudely DO NOT ASK. Ok, first red flag. Later when the food was ready they packed it as if it was to go. We had no place to go as we were just tourist so we decided to eat it there but then one lady told us super rudely again we cannot stay because it’s a policy we have to let them know before. Bro, YOU SHOULD ASK AT LEAST “TO STAY OR TO GO” when the order is placed. I felt really bad, not really a good experience.

Such a strange experience. Was told after I paid I was not allowed to eat inside the restaurant because I hadn’t specified at the time of purchase my order was “to stay.” The manager was incredibly condescending and aggressive about it, as if everyone should already be aware of this rule. Way too much drama for a $20 veggie poke bowl.
