I love Scooter’s Coffee in Fort Payne! It’s the best coffee around! They have the most AMAZING owners and employees that are always so friendly and sweet! And I love how much they give back to our community, they have truly made such a positive impact in Fort Payne! ♥️

There is no seating since it’s a drive-thru but the smoothies (I got mango) are delightful. They have people coming out to take your order even in the rain. Everyone is nice and has a smile on their face. The wait isn’t too long even with tons of cars in line.
My husband got a Turtle Latte which he liked. He usually gets a caramel macchiato from the mermaid place so this worked for him with the caramel. We got the 3 mini donuts for $1 as well.
They just opened recently, so stop by! I’ve been to other Scooters before. Glad they came to Fort Payne.

As much as I enjoyed their coffee I can’t waste my time here anymore. Time before last drove off with cold coffee instead of hot, it was just barely luke warm. Last time no cream or sugar added. This time 16 minutes in line only to find out they are only taking cash today. I enjoy the coffee but they’re not worth the wait or the mistakes.

Staff are very nice and very patient, honestly a pleasure. I went here for the first time and got a s’mores cold brew and an everything bagel sandwhich. The drink was very good just too sweet for my taste. They added a lot of chocolate, but that’s just a personal preference so it didn’t phase me. The sandwhich was good, it was way more peppery than I expected but I liked it all the better for it! So decided to go a second time.
This time I got a large iced vanilla latte with only 3 pumps of vanilla (it comes with five) and a little Carmel drizzle on top, light ice, and an extra shot. But when I got the drink, they shorted me 6oz! They said it was because it was light ice. Simply on principle I won’t be coming back or recommending this place over the small local businesses like The Spot in town. Think about it. The milk they shorted me would have cost about 9 cents. But if I had asked for extra ice, extra shots they wouldn’t have upgrade the size of my cup, they would have just given me *less milk*. It’s a sleazy practice that even small businesses aren’t greedy enough to do. Not to mention that they neglected to put the drizzle on at all, and the drink came out so sweet that I know for a fact they didn’t just out 3 pumps of vanilla in it. But the drink being made wrong wouldn’t have really bothered me too much. It’s the concept of shorting the drink as a passive aggressive penny saver for large corporations. Eh. I’ll stick with small business owners. Anyhow, hope my review helps some folks out.

This location is pretty good but I order the same thing every time and every time my drink tastes a little different. Sometimes it is incredible and sometimes it could be better. The staff is overall incredibly friendly. I love the APP because I can earn free drinks or food. Food is always made to order and always good.

Scooter’s Coffee Review – Disappointing Experience
I recently visited Scooter’s Coffee and ordered a Caramel Cold Brew with protein cold foam and a shot of espresso. What I got was a caramelicious cold brew with no espresso, 90% cold foam, and barely any coffee. The drink was overwhelmingly sweet and unbalanced, making it completely undrinkable.
My husband ordered a Cold Brew with Caramel and Cream, which turned out to be watery and overly sugary..not what you expect from a cold brew.
For both drinks, the total came to $15, which made the experience even more frustrating. I don’t mind paying for quality coffee, but this was a $15 mistake that I won’t be making again.
The staff was okay—not rude, but not particularly friendly either. Overall, I was really disappointed. If you enjoy coffee that actually tastes like coffee rather than pure sugar, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

In the past I tried the mermaid place for coffee and did not like the coffee or the price. First cup of coffer at Scooter’s I was sold! I also tried the everything bagel and the egg bites and was delighted to fine food with my new coffee choice. Also tried the sugar free cold specialty drink and as a diabetic I have found one I can drink and enjoy. Service was FAST and pleasant the price was good. I have my regulars there and charmed by Syd and Olivia.
