I went there because I was so happy they had Singapore noodles and we got two lunch menu items, chicken chow mein and Singapore noodles and I got an egg drop soup and spring rolls. I ate a little of my Singapore noodles and sesame chicken lunch special and left the rest for the next day. I went to eat my egg drop soup and it had rotten eggs and they were so black. I tried the food here after many years. Not impressed at all. Sadly there seem to be no good Chinese restaurants left in Shenandoah County. Very disappointing. Also my daughter started going to the gym a few doors down from this. I sit here at least five days a week waiting for her. They literally are never busy anymore. I would not trust the food. It’s sad because once upon a time this was a decent place.

After a long, hard day, working in Woodstock, I decided to treat myself. I was familiar with China Wok in Winchester but I learned that they’re not affiliated in any way. The hot and sour soup was quite good with ample amounts of bean curd and a good balance between the sour and sweet. The meal went downhill from there. My shrimp egg roll was overdone on one end and so salty I couldn’t finish it. The roast pork egg roll was halfway respectable but only half way. At least I could finish it. The steamed dumplings had a very thin dough with little flavor. Some may like it but I am accustomed to a thicker, tastier. more robust dough. My entree was combo lo mein. There was enough shrimp, beef and pork to avoid being called skimpy. But the dish was – you guessed it – way too salty. I ordered a lot of food because I’d hoped to save some for lunch. Sadly, I threw it away. If you like very salty food, this is the place for you. Otherwise. try the one in Winchester when you’re there. There’s zero ambiance, meaning it’s a carry out with 2 tables in the waiting area, but the food is wonderful and the staff are very nice.

The food made me SICK LITERALLY. I started feeling sick half way through eating. I spent about an hour on the potty when I got to my home. I was barfing all over the place. It even went on my cat, in all my fish bowls and on my toothbrush. I will never come here again. All my stuff is sticky now because of all the barfing that was goin on.

Place looks dirty. I ordered the house mei fun. The taste not that good. There supposed to be chicke, pork and shrimp. There were 2 tiny shrimps 3 little slices of pork and 3 tiny slices od chicken. Mostly noodles and green peppers. Very disappointed. I will never order from there again. The one by walmart is much better. The person that i complain to was not helpful. Lucky i gave 2 stars!#

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. I usually hate ordering from places over the phone, but this man is so fast on the phone, I can order in no time at all. Every time I call I try and beat my fastest time. So far, my record is 13 seconds for 4 items. Also food is great!

I live across the street from this place. I call in my order. They tell me 10 minutes. I go after 10 minutes and have to wait another hour to get my food. The broccoli is always hard and their steak is always tough and no flavor. I quit eating here because the food sucks and I have to wait at least an hour for my food. I go to Asian Spice now. At least my food is ready when I get there.

People who rave over this restaurant’s food need to go to D.C., Philadelphia or New York and sample real oriental food. The Wok serves up bland food (at best). Woodstock has a few oriental restaurants, non of which stands up to those one finds in larger communities. China Wok isn’t the worst. Asian spice holds that title, as far as I’m concerned. I’ve given that establishment three tries and was disappointed each time. The food sits out too long to be considered fresh.
