Our lasagna and eggplant dishes were great as was the bread w oil , Parmesan and butter. Yeungling and Miller Lite were cold and refreshing. Service from Christine was the best. Attentive and even anticipatory. I don’t give out 5’s but I have not had better in Chicago. Lots more on the menu I want to experience.

Warm, cozy meal after a trip to the Brookfield Zoo Lights. The food was delicious – it was the Italian comfort food I didn’t know I needed! Sausage Giambotta with wine sauce was a dream. Others in my party had the sausage and mushroom risotto which was deliciously creamy, and the breaded steak sandwich that rivals Ricobene’s! Service was excellent and Steven took great care of us, including checking on allergens in the dessert!

The Village Pub is such a wonderful and welcoming restaurant with fantastic food. Our server, Amy, was the best! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. Great people all around including the hostess, bus boys, and Demetri were also so attentive and kind. Great service and a great atmosphere. We love this place so much. They don’t make restaurants like this anymore. A true hidden gem!

Steven was our server this evening and our experience was absolutely phenomenal. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable of the Pub offerings, but he was patient and genuinely kind and accommodating. Tried the Pork Chop Milanese, might have been the best thing I’ve had my entire life. I was reluctant to try it but Natalie HIGHLY recommended it. It’s worth an hour drive or wherever you come from. It deserves 6 stars!
