Good local place! Portions are enormous. Other than that it is standard bar and grill fare. Burgers and sandwiches with fried or grilled meats. Onion rings and breaded mushrooms were good. Not many side options for vegetables. Clean bathrooms and comfortable service.

Montgomery City, Mo Just had the best KC strip I’ve ever eaten, had a friend over from out of town, we were both really impressed. Juicy, grilled perfectly & its so hard to find someone to cook it like its suppose to be cooked Med/Well.
It was perfect!! No steak sauce needed!
Baked potato was perfect & salad very good! Great price too!! Thank you for a very enjoyable meal!

My parents live in town and took us to Second Place Grill and “Bar”. The food is amazing and super cheap. We live in St. Louis so it was mind blowing to get such great food for such a low price. My parents eat there nearly every day and we will go back with out question next time we are in town.

Great food and service. Had the pork tenderloin sandwich. It was twice as big as the bun and so tender! The breading had the perfect amount of crunch. My tea glass never got empty!

Great family restaurant. Burgers are nice and thick. Breaded pork tenderloin is my favorite, portion is like a truck stop portion! Generous portion of hot fries. My absolute favorite side is the mini tacos!
