Very friendly staff, cozy dining atmosphere. Food was very good. She had french dip, I had fish and chips (tater tots, and they were great). Waitress was extremely attentive. Best tip I’ve left after a meal in quite a while!

We made reservations for granddaughters 16th birthday. Service was very slow. It wasn’t overly busy maybe 6 tables at most and 3 were ready to leave. The waitress took a long time to take our drink order and appetizer order. Once we got our drinks she never came back for refills. We asked her once for a refill of soda and she forgot so we had to remind her. Our bar drinks ran dry we had to ask for them. When we finally got our food the sirloin steak our granddaughter received was mushy. It was an 8 oz which is not very big, her mom and I took a bite, she took a couple of bites, it was horrible. It took a long time to get the waitress back and when we did she took it back to the cook. The cook comes out, she is also the owner and very offended we did not like her steak. She just kept saying it was a high grade of sirloin and people like their sirloin mushy. What, sure we like it tender but not mushy like baby food. It was like it was old meat. She just kept say how can I make it right. I said take it off the bill and she said but she ate most of it. No she did not there was probably 2 oz gone. She argued so much we just said forget it we’ll just pay for it. Then the waitress came out and said we took it off the bill and I said thank you but looked at the bill, they took $4.17 off. What a joke. The owner came out all proud of what she did but no we will never be back. Her attitude and lack of customer service is amazing. It’s too bad because her husband is really nice.

This is our favorite place to eat in the valley. It takes a while to get your food, but oh is it worth it! I always order the fish and chips; it’s delicious! Their burgers are also great. The soda is pricey, refills are not free, and the glass is small, but that is really my only complaint. We recommend this place to people we know; you can’t go wrong eating here. I will say, it has a bar, so when we go we make sure we show up right at five when they open to avoid being around the people who get drunk, loud, and obnoxious. we have a tween and a teen, so we feel it’s better to stay away from showing up at the later times.

Great menu, excellent service, clean restaurant with sparkling shiny dishes. Love the variety on the menu, food looks precariously placed with precision and variation between dish to dish, when following a strict recipe, is sparce. This is to say the chef in house is extremely consistent, with some of the best help to be had. Excellent ownership and I will plan to eat here as often as I can make!

These guys really know how to cook a steak! Great atmosphere, killer drinks, lots of micro brew choices. Great home style fare. Great selection and cuts of meat served anyway you want it. I’ll definitely be going back.

Jesse H. from Glenwood RV Park recommended this rustic, yet quaint restaurant while we were camping in Riverside. Our server was extremely attentive and friendly and we were happily obliged with a request for hockey on one of the many TVs [we’re from Canada!]. Now on to the food…Don’t expect to place your order and have a hastily prepared meal thrown in front of you in a few minutes. The chefs here actually do their jobs!! The food is prepared exactly as ordered and nicely appointed on plates. The high quality and freshness of their ingredients are apparent and based on our experience we would highly recommend the sirloin steak with [authentic] mashed potatoes and the burger with their signature hand cut fries. They are AMAZING!! No wonder folks drive for miles to partake! We will definitely return in the future to enjoy more selections on their menu!

Had a great meal here. My steak sandwich was huge, the meat tender and delicious. My friends got the fish dinner and one dinner could easily feed two people. Pleasant atmosphere. Will go there again…

The best sit down restaurant I’ve been to in a very long time. The food is amazing and the staff is friendly. Service is a little slow but the rest of the experience out ways it all. Besides I would expect the service to be a little slow based on the high quality and taste they provide.

Love this place! The place is nice and cozy. The decor was very neat. And let me give you a tip, order the top sirloin. Mine was amazing! Cooked just right with a delicious seasoning. The staff was very friendly and ready to help. If we are ever in the area again, hopefully we can stop again.
