Ordered online for pickup, since I heard such great things. I ordered the egg, cheese, and Taylor Ham (pork roll) on an Everything Bagel. It did not disappoint. Nice hearty, full sized bagel with great Everything seasoning. Could have used a bit more pork roll but that’s the only area of improvement.
Best NJ bagel and/or bagel breakfast sandwich equivalent I’ve found here in the area. Definitely will return!!

The bagel itself is great in texture with a great chew, but they need to do better on delivering taste. Three different instances: most recently, I ordered an onion and garlic bagel, essentially got a plain bagel (no onion and garlic toppings), this has happened to me in the past with an everything bagel – actually tasted more like a salt bagel, and the rosemary sea salt bagel was the first one I tried – the salt is extremely overpowers. Overall, while the texture is there, would like to see consistency with the flavors.

The bagels are quite good but a bit expensive. And also it’s a serve your own coffee which is fine but for the prices I would have assumed it would have some more speciality coffees. Also I personally couldn’t not study here very much a pick up and go, or a quick sit down eat.

I wish I got the same experience as the other reviews. The bagel I got was so hard it felt like it was made a week ago. I could barely cut through it let alone bite it. The cream cheese was good, so that’s a plus, but very disappointing, thin bagel

Sometimes the bagels are so great, my favorite is the rosemary sea salt. It really is a gamble on what kind of bagel you’re going to get. Today’s tasted very undercooked, it wasn’t even warm and I ordered it toasted. I always have to ask for light cream cheese because if I don’t I end up with more cream cheese than bagel. Even when I ask for light cream cheese there is still an absurd amount where I have to remove 1/3 of it to have something edible. The everything bagel blend needs more salt and poppy seeds it lacks flavor. I got the Asiago bagel from here once and the cheese was so oily the entire cheese layer just slid off the bagel.

I recently visited Bagel Joy and tried their rosemary salt bagel, and it was absolutely amazing! The bagel was perfectly baked with just the right amount of rosemary flavor, making it a standout option. The staff greeted me with a warm smile, and I could clearly see the great work ethic and passion they have for what they do. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was top-notch. Despite the place being packed with at least 10-15 people in line, it only took 5-10 minutes for my bagels to be made—which, if you ask me, is fast! I highly recommend checking them out if you’re a bagel lover. I think I’ve found my new Sunday ritual. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Bagel Joy is definitely worth a visit. It’s a small mom and pop operation, so give a little grace (inside could use a better layout). Everything ordered was fresh and delicious (blueberry muffin – 10 out of 10, BLT on a toasted everything bagel and a classic toasted plain bagel w/ cream cheese). I’ll definitely be back for more!

I got the lox bagel. Delicious! They layer on the smoked salmon perfectly- no skimping on portions. The staff is always friendly, store is always clean, and I love all the options they have for food, drinks, and even special cream cheeses!

Just finished my everything bagel and tempted to return to the counter for another. It was a great bagel. Chewy outside, soft in the middle, hints of salt with each bite. Well done Bagel Joy. My daughter got the Asiago bagel with a slice of cheese (see below).
