Wow! I love Indian food and this place is definitely one of my favorites. Everything was rich and delicious without being super oily. The chicken tikka masala was creamy and savory. The saag paneer was hearty and tasty. The Naan was the absolute best I ever had. It was fluffy and I could tell it was not store bought. The service was also super friendly! I will definitely be back!!

I tried their aromatic rice entrée, the crunchy street-style snack, tender tikka chicken, and a mango yogurt drink. every item was incredibly delicious! The flavors were rich, authentic, and layered with spices that truly shined. The tikka chicken was soft and cooked perfectly, the rice dish had an amazing aroma with a flawless mix of spices, and the street.style snack tasted just like something you’d find at a lively food stall. The mango yogurt drink was creamy, refreshing, and the sweetest way to finish the meal. The atmosphere feels warm and inviting, making it a wonderful spot for families. I highly recommend this place if you want real Indian flavors in a family.friendly setting!

Saffron is a newer Indian addition to the Chicago suburbs. To start, the girl over the phone was very sweet and helpful. We had a decently big order and they said around roughly 30 minutes. Arriving to the restaurant it’s a small and cute inside. They prepared our food on time and I was on my way back home. Long story short, their food is actually pretty good. I’ve had all sorts of Indian cuisine and this one was definitely memorable. Their butter chicken and paneer makhani sauces were definitely on the sweeter tangier side. I actually liked it as it was unique. Their garlic naan is just okay. It needs more garlic for sure. Their paneer naan was definitely the move. It was delicious! Their lamb was tender and fresh. The paneer melts in ur mouth but the sauce base was definitely the best with the butter chicken. Their to go portions are very typical of what’d you’d expect (pictures below). I will definitely be back as this is now my new favorite Indian spot in the area. Great job!

Excellent choices of very flavorful food. We do love Indian foods & discovering the differences in each familes recipes. There items on the menu that we’ve not seen other restaurants, so don’t be afraid to ask. We ordered a lot of varieties. They even brought me out pickled mango not on the menu when I asked for it. Do order rice as it’s not automatic with chicken dishes. They take pride in the quality & presentation. Plenty of leftovers for tomorrow too! We were too excited to eat & forgot to take pictures of everything. The owners were lovely to talk with. They just opened 3 months ago. We certainly plan on returning when we are back in town.

Had dinner here last night and it truly felt like a taste from back home! The chicken tandoori was perfectly smoky and flavorful, the naan was soft and fresh, and the biryani had that real authentic spice and aroma. Service was excellent and the order came right on time. Definitely one of the best spots for real desi food in town!

10/10 – A Hidden Gem for Indian Cuisine in the Suburbs! Saffron in Westmont delivers Indian cuisine on a whole new level. Every dish tasted like it was made with genuine passion and care, from the freshness of the ingredients to the perfect balance of flavors and spices. You can truly feel the heart and soul behind the cooking—it’s not just food, it’s passion in the form of authentic Indian cuisine. Easily the best Indian food I’ve ever had, and I told the owner that. It’s the standard for quality that other restaurants have a hard time matching. The food is amazing and the hospitality is top.

Come here. You won’t be disappointed.

We ordered 3 different chicken entrees and were all 10/10. The samosas were crispy and flavorful and the garlic naan was warm and fluffy. We will be making this our regular Indian spot in the suburbs. The wait was long but we ordered takeout at 7pm on a friday night, but the food was clearly fresh and home cooked which is worth the wait imo
