This was an administration appt to chill and enjoy the 4th of July. The people were friendly and welcoming. I just moved from Seattle, WA and they made me feel comfortable. I’m sure I’ll be back very soon. I met a lot of great people and I’m positive I’ll be back. I appreciate you!

So…missed our exit. Took a day and a half to find the next place to turn around and by the time we got there we were like, man, could really use a shot right now. Closest bar ended up being the turnpike tavern and oh my. There couldn’t be a more perfect place, and to our surprise, we were stupefied by the pickle shots! The owner makes the secret recipe in house and oh boy. Enough said

Very disappointed in the Bartender! She was incredibly slow getting drinks and her customer service was incredibly rude. I felt like I had to be a part of her clique to get somewhat decent service. I was new to the place and I had to wait multiple times because she was only serving the people she new. I also observed her personal issues interfering with her job requirements and responsibilities.
I will not go back and I will tell all of my friends that new persons, especially females, are not welcomed because the Bartender chooses, based upon her preference, who she will serve.

Old school small town bar. Great staff, stiff drinks and good pool players. Nice place to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon. Great pit stop if you are out on a motorcycle.

Just got their liquor license not long ago and the selection is limited but it is a start. Their beer specials the other night was good and I had a good time meeting friends out there.
Not too many options around that way so it’s a good little spot to check out. They are biker friendly.
