Plenty possibilities for this to be a great place. But today was disappointing. The brisket was quite dry and tough and the one sauce that was available was weak. A spicy choice of sauce would be nice. There was over a 30min wait for us to get our food and there was only 3 people in the resteraunt. The fries were nice crosscut style perfectly cooked but with a hint of fish flavor. The staff was very friendly. This is a neat place. I may visit again if I hear things change.

Loved this place. The food was delicious. The owner was soo nice. We conversed while my kids and I ate. The feather ribs and cheese curds were our favorite. The catfish was reallllyyy good. Very nice hidden gem. Ohhhh, I almost forgot about the fries. They had a bit of heaven’s seasonings on them. Really good.

Don’t let the smaller, slightly run-down exterior fool you. I am was in town for a work conference and was looking for some authentic midwest BBQ. Lady Bug did not disappoint! My pulled pork sandwich and side of waffle fries were absolutely delicious. I was extra-appreciative of the full bottles of ranch and BBQ sauce they provided me so I could drench my food as I pleased. Extremely reasonable pricing and friendly owners/staff.

Our lunch today was fantastic! Best restaurant food we have had in a long time. Outstanding from the standpoint of quality, quantity, price and service. What a delightful place to eat at when in Nebraska City at lunchtime or dinnertime. We’ll be back!

I was in Lincoln a few years back for work and was told by several coworkers that I need to check this place out. They weren’t lying! If you think Famous Dave’s is good BBQ, you don’t know what you’re missing. Ladybug puts them to shame. Delicious BBQ, great pies, the owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Do yourself a favor and go eat here. You won’t regret it.

Had chicken, ribs, pulled pork, and brisket with potato salad, cole slaw and beans to go for a family Christmas dinner. All of it was outstanding. Brisket and ribs were my favorites. Owner was very nice to us.

Traveling from Topeka thru to South Dakota saw they had great reviews. Gave them a buzz on the phone as we didn’t see business hours. The owner answers and explains they weren’t open but would be there for a few and stop on down. Glad we did. Had the brisket and it was good. Not the best I’ve had but very good. Not as smokey as I prefer but I like a lot of smoke to my bbq. Potatoe salad was good also. Buns we’re great. The owner was very nice and friendly. Way better than grabbing some fast food junk in a small community. Appreciate the good product and great services. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling thru looming for “real food”. If I travel back thru I will stop in again
