Amazing pizza (as well as other dishes) made fresh (Italian style). Dishes range from pizzas to pastas, salads, wings and more. Plus, you HAVE to pick up some of the delicious Gelato and you can’t leave without grabbing some fresh Pine River cheese curds!

THE BEST POUTINE WEST OF QUEBEC!!! Seriously this was the best poutine I have had the pleasure of eating in over a decade. Everything is on point. The fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, delicious delicate gravy and the show stopper was the fresh squeaky cheese curds piled high. We don’t live locally and we’re passing through…it’s been in the back of my mind to make a trip back here just for the poutine.

Yum! We stopped in here to pick up cheese curds and we’re greeted instead by a beautiful new restaurant with a cheese counter. We couldn’t leave without getting a pizza pie and it was excellent. Quickly cooked and very generous toppings. Very flavourful! Would recommend they serve their pizza with a few fresh Basil for some added flavour. Highly recommend.

Can’t comment on the food directly – but it smelled AMAZING! We went for the curds, as we’ve always done before PR was shut down. We had no idea it had turned into this cute, quaint little spot! Very very happy we could still get our beloved curds – and mega blocks of PR cheese… Next time we head up we’re going to try the ‘za

August 2 Saturday 7 o’clock literally the best pizza I’ve ever waited for. They were super busy due to an event in Ripley believe you me it was worth the wait. I’ll be back there next weekend and I’m gonna buy three this time. Absolutely love it. Blair is a complete and total rockstar. We don’t know how he does. I feel bad for the business… great products, but terrible marketing.
Very few people know that Mercado means Market… tons of cool products, frozen meals, deli items, etc available….but little traffic for them.
There is a bar area that could be a cool hangout spot, but it closes too early to catch many customers.
They really need a big sign advertising an authentic Italian experience – cuisine, gelato, take out, frozen meals to go and a friendly bar as a destination.
If the parking lot were paved, I could see it as a great spot for vintage car meets or motorcycle trips. These groups are always looking for a spot to stop, but won’t go near the gravel, mud and pot holes.
Worth a visit for the amazing food!

Picked up some of their frozen pizzas and flavoured cheese curds. They were awesome! Will definitely be going back to order some fresh made hot pizzas.

Ordered one of the large pizzas and added extra pinapple, ham and cheese and came to $59 (with tip) for 1 pizza. I ordered online for a pickup, I was there 15min early hoping to get a super hot pizza coming out of the oven but it was already cooked and keeping warm under the oven. When I walked out even the bottom of the pizza box wasn’t hot. Get home and there definitely was not extra toppings on it.
