I ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice and the honeydew special tea with tapioca pearls. The meal and location were good. Portion sizes were generous and maintained quality after I microwaved the leftovers. The tea was okay, and I would consider getting another flavor and jelly pearls. I dined with another person, and we received good customer service.

Nice quiet lunch spot. Service was excellent and the food was well prepared and served hot. They also serve boboa drinks which several people came in and ordered during my lunch. Overall a great little lunch spot. I will return!

I stopped in for lunch, and this place is very good. I had a Kung pow shrimp for about nine dollars. It was served hot with brown rice, which I really liked. The shrimp were very large and not overcooked. They have a great hot and sour soup. Very happy with this place. At first I did not even see it appear on the map. Excellent eggroll as well.

Seriously decent above average pho here. Price is ballpark around $10 bucks a bowl. The menu is varied but not so much that it’s all over the place. Side plates are more often than not, pretty fresh – rarely do I ever get served a sprig of mint that has a wilted leaf. Also, for the authentic icing on the proverbial cake, they have fish sauce at the table as a condiment.

Great food and service! This place isn’t easy to notice but it’s a gem. The food is freshly prepared and tasty. They know what they’re doing here. My family and I have gone several times. The food has been consistently good. The service is great. While they are a hidden gem, there’s not much wait to eat here. If you’re on the fence, just try them!

Every dish I’ve tried here has been excellent, but my favorite is the spicy lemongrass beef noodle soup.
They also make their own spicy chili sauce. It is hot enough to alter your DNA, but it tastes soooo good!

Good pho and bun. Very good prices. Clean and friendly. The rolls are generous – you get three for the price, whereas you get two for the price at most Vietnamese restaurants. They do not have iced jasmine tea, unfortunately.

Enjoy dine in and carry out. Clean and simple atmosphere. Great menu- lots of options and very easy to change ingredients when placing order. Love all the table condiments including siracha, chili oil and several more non-standard (as well as regular ones). Friendly staff and owner. Glad they are in Hoover!

This place is a hidden gem and has become our go to Vietnamese/Asian restaurant in Birmingham. We love the crab rangoon, egg rolls, wings, banh mi, pho, and bun noodle dishes. The staff is really friendly and the prices are reasonable. It’s low key, they have two TVs, and the front is windows all the way across so there’s a lightness and comfort here that’s nice whether you’re here for lunch or dinner. Please come support this great local family-owned business.
