We visited Blossom Chinese Restaurant to celebrate a birthday. The dining area is nicely decorated with a great atmosphere. Even the chairs are worth a mention – very comfortable. The service from greeting, through taking orders and serving food, all the way to our departure, was excellent. But what you want to know about is the food. I agree with another reviewer that the quality is on a par with that of ChinaTown in London. We had Blossoms mixed platter and duck to start followed by an assortment of mains. Every bite was absolutely delicious. I have a feeling we will be regular visitors.

5 star service with excellent quality food and reasonable prices for high standard food. Blossom is in a very unassuming road but don’t be put off the interiors is modern and relaxed with a bewitching ceiling and nice gentle music. The 4 of us had the mixed starter, 2 mains, 2 rices and an extra starter and drinks for £35 each including tip. Will be coming back. Do book to avoid disappointment.

Update 26th July 25 and 20th December 25 – This restaurant is as good if not better any in London’s China Town – clearly a great deal of investment has been made in the unit – a friendly welcome, comfortable table – atmospheric environment with the shooting star ceiling – good menu – not cheap but quality and that is what matters – attentive service and the food was excellent. It’s great to have a quality restaurant in the town. A first rate experience and we will continue to recommend and may return. Only comment for consideration – if giving customers complementary drink at end of meal – either do it for everyone or no one – when the table next to you gets Bailies and our table got a After Eight Mint then that leaves a negative feeling ( having just paid the best part of £100 for a meal for two) given we have eaten with you throughout your first year and given positive reviews.

Came to the restaurant last night after seeing good things about restaurant on next door app. We knew it used to be a Chinese restaurant which had closed down and heard it had reopened so we were curious to see what it was like, and we were pleasantly surprised.
We went early evening, place was quiet but the staff made us very welcome. The place is decorated really nice and the ceiling is WOW, full of stars that twinkled different colours and then shooting stars appear across the whole of the ceiling, a real eye catching show stopper, couldn’t stop looking up all the time we were there..
We ordered a bottle of wine which was reasonably priced and tasted great. That came with prawn crackers and sweet sour sauce to dip.
For starters we went for the Blossom mixed platter, a selection of spring rolls, prawn toast, peking ribs, chicken satay and seaweed, all of which were really tasty and presented well.
For our main course we shared special fried rice, lemon chicken and shredded chilli beef. We were both really impressed, all looked and tasted great, plenty of it too, so much we had to ask to get a doggy bag to take what we couldn’t eat home, can’t wait for lunchtime to have it again.
The staff were very attentive, and very friendly, we will definitely return, soon.

We had a fantastic time dining out! The food was absolutely top-notch, especially steam dim sum siu mai and chicken dumplings which were perfectly portioned and full of flavour. The service was exceptional; the team made us feel welcomed and checked in just the right amount, and even sent us off with a friendly farewell. With such a great atmosphere and spotless surroundings, I really couldn’t ask for more. What a great find and totally recommend.

First time eating here, will definitely try again. Really good quality food, lovely chicken noodles (not at all greasy), hot and sour soup had a really deep flavour, crispy shredded beef was light and tasty. Everything was really well presented. Thank you!

Visiting this restaurant is always a treat. It is beautiful inside, the service is impeccable and the food tasty and delicious. Whether having the set menu or choosing our dishes we cannot fault the quality of the dishes. The staff are friendly and eager to please. They are passionate about their food and your experience. It is a rare find and we are particularly thrilled, once again to have a high quality Chinese restaurant since the Imperial China in Lyndhurst was being managed by the wonderful Gary. This hidden gem in New Milton is well worth a visit.

We ordered a takeaway from here and collected it. The restaurant is really lovely and staff were very friendly. We only had to wait 15 minutes for the food to be ready. The food was delicious, highly recommend.
