I don’t go often to Thai spots, since this one was on my list, I was looking forward to try!
We came on a Sunday for a lunch and it was pretty quiet. We sat outside. They had a few good options, we got Thai dumplings (chicken & veggies), chicken satay, pad thai and pad see ew.
The starts were good. The chicken satay with that peanut sauce was delicious.
The pad thai and pad see ew had really nice portions for us – maybe having starters helped make us full faster. But, i still felt like portions were generous. The food was tasty, good in my opinion. Again, not an expert here but it was to my taste.
We left the place satisfied, so I would definitely recommend for anyone around to try. Easy and simple Thai restaurant.
Service was quick and friendly, no wait on a weekday evening! A little hidden behind the trees on the street but glad we saw it on google.
(We asked for everything to be spicy but it wasnt spicy so I think they toned it down for us )
The Thai tea was criminally sweet beyond comprehension. My friend’s tea was normal tasting… so I think consistency may be an issue. I order Thai tea whenever given the chance & usually don’t need to swirl/mix too much to enjoy it, but my first sip sent me into a coughing fit from how sugary it was. I have prob tried 50+ different Thai teas across different cities, and this one was like straight molasses so once I got home, I split it into 2 glasses & diluted with more milk for my preferred flavor & level of sweetness.
We have tried many different dishes (have gotten the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Pad Kee Mao, Mixed Vegetables with Sauce, Spring Rolls, Chicken Satay, Green Rolls (rice paper rolls), Roti Curry, Yellow Curry with Chicken, and the Panang Beef Curry Stew – so a lot of the staples on the menu!) and everything has been tasty. Has been consistent through all of the times.
The Panang Beef Curry Stew has a deep panang flavor & consistency and the beef is soft and cooked perfectly. The Roti Curry is crispy and light – a household favorite too (get it with extra curry on the side). Lots of Thai Tea options as well. We’ve had it for both sit-in & takeout. Highly recommend.
