During Memorial Day, while exploring the bustling Wildwood Boardwalk, I stumbled upon Pierogi Place among the many stores. Intrigued, I decided to try their original pierogi, which was generously filled with delectable potato and cheese. The staff suggested complementing it with their chili oil, and the combination was truly fantastic! If I find myself on the boardwalk again, I will definitely make a point to stop by Pierogi Place once more.

Delightful staff, very nice pierogies that are more substantial than sugar based goodies found elsewhere on the boardwalk. There’s a nice variety of different or traditional style pierogi flavors as well as sweet options, but they aren’t fresh, homemade from the nice Ukrainian church ladies, and they weren’t piping hot from their holding containers rather than coming straight from the kitchen instead, but they would certainly be my preference of food choice when I come back after having walked the length of the boardwalk of choices. They also had a nice assortment of toppings that can go on top or on the side. My favorite was the bacon cheese pierogi because it was different. It was smokey and not chunky or chewy with bacon bits and paired well with the sour cream, applesauce and onions we had selected for direct toppings. I would definitely return to try the sweet varieties. I had tried the 5 for $9 and tried 5 different flavors instead of 5 of one flavor. Would recommend that way so you can have a rounded experience as well, enjoy!

Excellent pierogies here, prices are a little high, but they’re directly on the boardwalk so it makes sense. The value and taste is worth the money. My favorite has to be the potato onion, but they have many other different options to choose from and toppings. A very good vegetarian and vegan friendly place, one of the pierogies even has vegan cheddar cheese.

This has become a staple of Jersey shore vacation food for me!!! Whenever my family comes down to wildwood I am SO hyped for these pirogies. As a vegan on the boardwalk this place is a holy grail, well worth the wait for them to make the vegan pirogies. It’s perfect with the spicy chilli sauce and applesauce (I believe those are the only vegan toppings but they are perfect).

I’m of Ukrianian heritage – so I had to try The Pierogie Place.
I tried a Large (10 pieces) of a mix of Traditional and Sauerkraut with two sides (I took both as sour cream). They were super tasty and enjoyed it very much. The counter staff spoke Ukrainian (and English!) and they were super friendly.
Would I go back? YES!

Delicious vegan cheddar and potato pierogies (although sometimes they run out, and they take 10-15 minutes to make). Only bummer was that none of the toppings were vegan (except for applesauce), and sometimes (not always) they put a lot of oil on the pierogies, but they always have a great flavor and texture. And so lovely to have a vegan option on the boardwalk! The flavors other than vegan cheddar (which also had potato in it) all have butter or other forms of dairy. We’ve ordered from both locations on the boardwalk for years and they’re both consistently great. One of the best vegan options on the boards for sure.

I went in to try the dumplings, but I was extremely disappointed. The dough was tough, there was little filling, and it didn’t taste very fresh. The service also leaves much to be desired — I had to wait a long time, even though there were hardly any customers in the place. Overall, I won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I got a bunch of pierogies while visiting the shore with family, and they were all fantastic. The girls working the counter were helpful with our confusing order and they were super accommodating. Couple that with delicious food and you’ve got a nice little snack spot that’ll be sure to stick around.
