There was a man sitting outside the restaurant who told me upon entering, “After the first bite, your mouth will know how good the hot dog tastes.” He told the truth. On our quest to find the best hot dog, Ziggy Dogs made it to our top 10 list. The coleslaw is very creamy and the chili seasoned well. I am usually not a fan of a crunch in my hot dog; but the toppings masked it well.
I chuckled when I saw the piece of strawberry candy at the bottom of the bag. I wonder if it is in honor of a grandmother or an auntie.
I will definitely return whenever I am in Kinston again.

Great dogs! Flavor of the dog itself is great, but add the warm bun and the toppings — wow! One of the very best dog places we’ve been!! All with fast friendly service – each dog made to order 😉

There’s so much more than hot dogs to choose from and you can customize your order however you want. You will never get bored with this menu. Just finished working my booth at Copper Mill Mercantile and was wanting a good beef hotdog. Well, I found it! They serve beef hotdogs, subs, baked potatoes. We got 2 regular hot dogs, a jumbo dog and a bratwurst and they were all delicious. Fast friendly service and they have 100% food rating!!

This will be my second review for Ziggy Dogs. I took my nephew (who never eats hot dogs) here for lunch. He was amazed by the quality and taste, as I always am. On our drive home, we classified the hot dogs as Ziggy Dogs because of the snap in every delicious bite. Ziggy Dogs are the best.
