I ate the buttermilk pancakes , it was moist and delicious .My sister had the light breakfast, she enjoyed the egg, homes fries and selected a peameal bacon.
The servers, Raina and Rita were friendly , efficient and we were happy with their service.. My sister asked if there were waffles on the menu but sadly no, that would be awesome if they did.
I would definitely come back , never knew the restaurant existed for two years.
I’m a foodie lover and I just moved recently from Toronto , awesome restaurant.
Today, I ordered the same smoothie, but it had no taste at all. I mentioned this to the attendant, and he brought back a sweeter but very watery drink that didn’t resemble a smoothie. It wasn’t even full. I told him again that this was not acceptable, and when it was remade, I was charged extra without being informed beforehand.
There was no help or support from the manager. It felt like today’s staff did not know how to make the smoothie properly and then charged the customer for their mistake.
The food was also not good today. Normally, I would rate this place 5/5, but today it was only 2/5. Very disappointing experience overall.
Definite must try is the salmon avocado spinach sandwich!
Will definitely be back 🙂
Interior decorating was a bit odd, as was the music choice. Covers of popular songs, if you’re into that sort of thing.
The banana Nutella pancakes were easily the most bland pancakes I’ve had in recent memory. All I could taste was banana and the chocolate syrup they drizzled in a lattice design over them. Normally you can taste the pancake itself and the toppings. This was not the case here.
The breakfast sausages were not breakfast sausages at all, they looked like long Vienna wieners. Please look at the photo I attached to see what I mean. They didn’t taste bad but they definitely did not taste like breakfast sausage. They also had no sear on them and just kinda felt warm.
No syrup at the table. No ketchup at the table. No hot sauce at the table. All had to be requested.
My water was not refilled the entire time I was here even though it was on the edge of my table for at least 10-15 minutes. I literally watched the waitress look at the two empty glasses of water on the edge of the table, make eye contact with me, and then walk away without saying a word. Meanwhile, she asked the table in front of me and behind me if they needed coffee refills multiple times.
I had enough time to write this entire review while waiting around for the waitress to bring our bill.
It isn’t the worst place ever but the things I disliked about my experience will definitely keep me from returning or recommending this restaurant.
$48.50 before tip for a big breakfast combo with upgraded pancakes, a breakfast combo, and a Vietnamese Iced Coffee.
Honestly, at the prices they’re charging, you’re better off going to another spot for breakfast.
