Golden Chick really impressed me! The food was absolutely delicious fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned. My roasted chicken was juicy, and the sides were just as good. The restaurant itself was very clean, which made the experience even better. What stood out the most was the staff they were so friendly and eager to make sure I was completely satisfied with my meal. You can tell they really care about their customers. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Today my fiancée & i came to the location as first time customers. I approached the counter undecided & I was greeted with a smile! Ms. Renée told me to “take your time. I’m not in a rush. We have a whole menu.” VERY rare in fast food. She suggested some items & I decided to go with the spicy wings , he had the roasted meal deal she suggested. & she was 100% correct. You can tell she really loves her job & her customers. We will DEFINITELY be back to this particular location for sure. Shoutout to you Renée! The food also was very fresh. Very fast. & the restaurant was extremely clean.

Try GoldenChick on GreenWell for the first time. I must say the customer service is amazing. When I walked in door I was greeted by a young lady behind the counter with a smile and she say welcome to GoldenChick are you dinner in with us are taken out. I told her it was my first time here and she recommended the $6 deal and the $6.99 special. I got the $6 deal roasted plate. The roasted Chicken was very flavorful hot and amazing and very clean restaurant. I will return..

We used to be die hard Popeyes people, but Golden Chick on Greenwell Springs in BR changed our minds. The fried chicken is on par with Popeyes, but the food is always fresh, hot, and our order is never wrong. My son was extra impressed that the guy who helped us at 1:30pm on 1/6/26 asked to make sure he had his sauce before we left.

If I could give this restaurant .5 stars, I would. I ordered the Zing wings which cost $25.99 for 24 wings. The presentation of the food was horrible. The wings do not seem like quality chicken. The rolls were smashed, flat, and greasy from the chicken. I drove over 25 minutes just to get to the restaurant, and they wanted me to save the chicken and return it the next day. Basically, I have to go out again somewhere else to get dinner and return this chicken tomorrow. Will definitely not return to the location on Greenwells Spring Road. However, the location on Airline Highway is recommended.

Poor customer service. We went here this evening and after standing by the cash register to place an order for 10 minutes we left. We were not acknowledged by the staff. They just looked and kept doing whatever it was they were doing.

I decided to give this place a try. They solved the under cooked problem mentioned in another review. Now the fried chicken is so over cooked it’s so tough it’s like trying to eat jerky. The flavor was non existent couldn’t taste any seasoning. The chickens they buy and fry are anorexic – smallest breast I’ve ever seen. They put your fried take out in a plastic container so by the time you get home everything is wet from condensation. The two women behind the counter had so many pins in their faces they looked more like pin cushions than people. This place was a total fail – Kentucky Fried was so much better.

Went to this location on 11/6/25 thought I’d try it for the first time although the service was nice and friendly the food was undercooked preferably the chicken it still had blood in the fried chicken so they definitely took it out of the fryer fas to soon so if any sickness occurs after eating their half cooked fried chicken sorry to say it will be their regrets .
