In a city full of Thai restaurants this one has to be recommended. Owned and run by a lovely couple, they serve wonderful food with a great laid back atmosphere. Will most certainly visit again when next in town.

……. Having been recommended by the Orange Tree landlord I entered and was greeted by a lovely gentleman who was extremely chatty (not annoyingly) who couldn’t have been more helpful. They have a large array of dishes and all cooked fresh and impeccably presented by the beautiful lady chef. You really must visit because you can’t fail to love it.

Waiting for delivery and for the second time what we’ve ordered had been delivered over an hour late (this time we cancelled). The food is good but it’s always the same excuses from the owner.. “it was the delivery drivers fault”.
Just own up mate and make your delivery assessment more realistic.
Everyone else, just add an hour to your delivery time and you’ll be good.

Please avoid this restaurant! The food was tasty but we all came back with food poisoning.The man serving us was strange and didn’t smile at all during welcoming or ordering process. He also didn’t really know how to handle my gluten free needs even though it was mentioned when we booked and before we arrived. The menu wasn’t very clear when about allergies and intolerances which made ordering stressful.
During out meal the chief came out to talk to us but she was in jeans and a very wooly jumper not proper cooking clothes. The walls had paint chipping off them and the corridor was dark going up the stairs to the toilet so we could easily have fallen. The kitchen itself looked poorly maintained and dingey.
I should add the food did taste amazing and the chief was very friendly but overall I would not repeat this experience.

This is a really outstanding authentic Thai restaurant. A party of three of us wandered in around 7pm Saturday requesting a table an hour later and were readily accommodated by the proprietor despite him clearly being busy. The food was exceptional – having eaten at many Thai restaurants, this was definitely one of my favourites. Extensive menu of dishes covering whole spectrum of Thai cuisine; deeply flavoured, generously portioned food with a nice friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
