Not a big fan of fast-food pizza, yet I crave Howie’s sometimes. Specifically that garlic-herb flavored crust. Partner likes it too, so we’ll get it from time-to-time. It’s normally great, made as ordered.
Tonight was awful.
I thought, ‘Wow, thank you so much for feeding us on Xmas Eve’ and we left out extra cash on top of the in-app tip of course, for the driver. However those working in the actual kitchen really got just about every detail wrong.
Ordered:
Large THIN CRUST (only size they offer in thin, sadly), pepperoni, garlic herb crust.
Received:
Extra thick, PLAIN (no flavor crust) pizza with beef.
They had contacted us to say, ‘We’re out of ‘roni, would you like a different topping?’ I thought it was sooo nice of them to reach out! So I opted for the beef. I told them, “As long as it can still be THIN CRUST, fine. Just swap in beef.” (Which barely resembles beef, btw and is gross but I did opt for it so that’s fine.) The issue is they didn’t make it thin. Or even regular. This pie was 3x as thick as my partner’s regular pie.
Also it was ANCIENT. Old, congealed, ice-cold. (We’re a 2minute drive from the store, so this was sent out this way. Why??)
Also paid for Howie’s bread, received no bread.
Also ordered the other pie with a flavored crust (garlic butter), it did not have it.
Probably, don’t bother this store on holidays or at night, when they just send out whatever so they can bounce.

This Hungry Howies served me the worst baked sub I have ever had in my life. (I’m over 60). It was nauseating and went in the trash. The top was dry and burnt and the rest was raw. The box it came in was cold to the touch as was the food inside. It took three times the estimated time limit for them to even finish the order. I was ignored in the drive through for twenty full minutes. They even messed up the salad. It only had half of the ingredients that I paid for.
I will never order from this Hungry Howie’s again.

I am writing regarding a recent phone interaction with your store.
I initially called to order a pepperoni pizza and was informed that card payments are no longer accepted over the phone. Because I am at work, I needed to make arrangements for my son to pick up the pizza, which required me to call back to clarify the payment process.
When I called back, the employee I spoke with responded with an unnecessary attitude. She stated that they no longer process card payments over the phone and mentioned that someone had been fired and that the store is under new management. While I understand policies may change, I had no way of knowing this information.
I was simply trying to ensure my son could properly complete the purchase. There was no reason for me to be spoken to in a disrespectful tone. Whether a customer calls once or multiple times, clarification should not be met with frustration.
I hope this feedback helps improve communication and customer service moving forward.

Outstanding Customer Service – Thank You, Hector!
I had an incredible experience at Hungry Howie’s thanks to Hector, who I believe is the manager. My order was mistakenly made wrong, but what truly amazed me was how Hector handled it. Not only did he immediately fix my pizza, but he also gave me the incorrect pizza for free and then went above and beyond by personally bringing the correct pizza out to my car.
His smile, professionalism, kindness, and genuine care for the customer were absolutely outstanding. You don’t see this level of service often anymore, and it truly made my day.
Hungry Howie’s needs more managers like Hector — he is a true example of excellent leadership and customer service. I will definitely be back!

The pizza was very good actually, the flavored dough is a amazing, we ordered pepperoni pizza, salami and regular cheese. The customer service is kind of terrible, we ordered over the phone and we wait around 30 min to get there when I get there the cashier young lady was to busy to acknowledge me because she was texting for over 5 min she also saw me and she ignored me, this other guy saw me and came to help me.

If you are looking for something cheap, quick and decent for the price- this is the joint. The app is user friendly and the pizza is always as ordered- I have yet to be disappointed with its presentation. They have a drive thru pickup window and a smiling face ready to greet you.
