I have been eating here since they were in their old location and the food/service/atmosphere have always been amazing. If you are looking for a fantastic small business restaurant this is the place for you. 10/10 recommendation with some awesome portion sizes worth the value.

Walked in to a welcoming interior with decor that’s quick to draw a grin. Sweet staff greeted us upon entering. Seat where you’d please (I love that) and menus to peruse with self service drinks. They were busy, but there was amble seating available and that on a Sunday (late a.m.) I could still have a window seat! The menu has so many great choices and I love the flexibility it offers. They don’t throw potatoes and toast onto every plate forcing you to pay for things you don’t want. So for me it was nice to order an omelet and pay for an omelet. If you are into toast or hash browns they can be added for a nominal price. As if that’s not enough there is a special menu on the counter that features seasonally inspired dishes. If you get there in time the Pumpkin Pancakes were amazing (see photo) for putting you in the Autumn mood. Many drinks available in refrigerators by door. Coffee is half way down the main counter (photo) and just a little further is flatware and items to keep the little ones busy while the food is cooking. The food takes a hot minute so if you are looking for quick pickup order ahead. Want quick food…get a microwave. This is being cooked to order, it is delish and worth the wait. Hey, can’t plan this, I even found a heart of bacon in my omelette! Fresh ingredients cooked to order what more can you ask? Yes, all tables were clean and you don’t have to eat sans a fork.
What I loved: self seating, order when you wish, the painted front window, that there are real mugs for coffee (but also paper cups), the games and coloring pages for kids, seasonally inspired specials, and of course the menu options and the food!
Keep up the good work, rewards will follow. My only advice would be to leave two paper menus at each table.

Great little spot! I came here to try breakfast tor takeout and it was a little crowded on the weekend and you order at the counter to-go or dine-in. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I ordered the biggie sandwich which took about 15 min, but you could tell it was made fresh and was so filling and delicious!

We went with the whole family there this morning.
It’s a very good spot for breakfast /brunch. Prices are more than reasonable. Actually pretty cheap to be honest. Food is delicious, people are polite and welcoming and atmosphere is very decent.
Very large portions as well.
I wish they had freshly squeezed juices to offer, but overall great place.

Good local café! It’s nice to have a place to enjoy breakfast and lunch 5 minutes from home. This is my 3rd time coming, and I have enjoyed each meal. They do not seem to have a full wait staff, so you order at the counter, and food is bought to you at your table. They could use some help, though, as the tables and silverware need a bit of attention as tables turn. I was happy to be told that customizations and substitutions were welcome and therefore added berries to my order of pancakes. Everything tasted freshly made to order. Someone asked about the mural on the storefront window, and the response was that it was done by a local artist. It’s great to hear local businesses supporting one another. I look forward to my next meal at Blue Jay Cafe!

The people who worked there were very nice but they need to work on cleaning the tables. The table we sat at was covered with crumbs and sticky. The food came out but we had no napkins and silverware and had to ask for them. There was no butter brought out for the table but was available once we asked. The food was just average but the prices are very reasonable.

Great local eatery with kind welcoming staff & owners. They took over the location of a deli that has been a local favorite for 30 years and are doing a great job bringing new life into our community. Locally sourced beef for their burgers & cheesesteaks and a large selection of locally made products including honey & coffee. The Jersey sandwich is nothing short of spectacular & their omelets are filling and delicious. Home made baked goods, gelato & deli salads are all 10/10. Catering menu looks delicious and the decor & atmosphere inside are bright and clean. Plenty of seating available & take out / delivery is offered as well. We are so glad to have found them & wish them nothing but success.

I’ve visited and dined in a few times, and this spot is definitely a gem; breakfast, lunch, breakfast for lunch, whatever you’re craving. The food is very fresh, thoughtfully crafted, original, and different, all at a great value for the price. It’s a busy place, as it should be, but the food comes out quickly for freshly made, made-to-order meals. This should be a go-to spot on everyone’s list.
