This is a rare place. Absolutely welcoming. We came in and were immediately welcomed in not only by the staff but other customers.
The food is really good. Really good. You can ask for things off menu and they can probably whip it up. You just have to ask.
Hands down, Thai Star is now one of my go to spots anytime I visit Amarillo. I cannot recommend it even.

The absolute best pad thai and curry that my husband and I have ever had! The employees were so very kind, the prices are more than fair, and the food was DIVINE. Everything was so fresh and flavorful.
Also, you can tell we arent the only ones who were super impressed, because they had so many regulars in just the hour that we spent there.

Traveling through and last minute pulled in. A little disappointed they don’t have tofu or any vegetarian appetizers or even salads without meat, but the vegetable red curry just got better and better with every bite ! Friendly and attentive service too!

Used to serve more food now it’s half of what they served! Paid $40 for 2 plates n egg rolls no drinks! Seems like you can get half full now! New owners have all family around! It doesn’t seem like a restaurant! The previous owner made sure you were well taken care of! Maybe it’ll change maybe not but I don’t think I’d give it another try after so many years of going there!

Amazing experience!! I had the Seafood Pad Tai.. you could good medium or hot. Loved the medium, will try the hot next time for sure!! Highly recommend for authentic Thai flavors and the Thai tea was excellent
