This visit was a last minute pivot and a very pleasant surprise! My fiancé and I meant to dine elsewhere and found our destination closed. We popped into Bar RBC hoping for a quick drink and a bite to eat before our 7pm show at the Tower Theater. We lucked out , the host offered us a spot upstairs at a community table but knowing we didn’t have time for a full dinner before the show we hesitated and he quickly suggested a small table adjacent to the bar, it was the perfect spot to grab a drink and a quick bite to eat. We settled on the charcuterie board, a beer and an old fashioned. The food was excellent as was my drink. The staff was friendly, up beat, knowledgeable and incredibly accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will definitely visit them again, though next time with a reservation. I am very much looking forward to spending more time there exploring their menu. Bravo! Well done. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for an elevated dining experience.

My wife and I had our anniversary dinner here and it was beyond expectations. Really friendly and helpful staff. Waiter, busser, and sommelier work as a well oiled team. We could not have asked for a nicer experience.

Visited this place with great expectations and you know what that does to you… though it is definitely a great choice for a nice dinner / date night!
My date had a great time reading the wine list and chatting with the somm. You’d have fun if you are a wine nut. The somm offered – on the house – dry sherry which really was beautiful. Thank you.
The food review – the prune and foie gras combo is very unique and innovative. The pork chop is really spectacular – nicely brined, pink and tender, and bursting with flavours. Nice char on the outside.
The octopus salad is just bursting with flavours. Cod fritters are nicely done. Grilled octopus is very forgettable.
We brought our own wine though would love to try their cocktails next time – what a list of unique concoctions!
The only thing that could do with some improvement – the table is just too low. We sat upstairs on the sofa seats built into the wall. Sure, it makes for a cosy conversation cos you would lean in very close to your date 🙂 tho it is not that fun when eating.
Perhaps will opt for a bar seat next time as I work through the cocktail list and revisit the pork chops next time 😉

I think this might be one of my bend favorites! The food was delicious everything we ate had such amazing flavors. The portions were perfect for 2 people. The ambiance was very warm and comfortable. The service was very good our waitress Brooke was very nice and attentive. We can’t wait to come back!

Pretty sublime overall experience, despite a couple tiny missteps with the food. The service, ambience, drinks and the dishes that hit were amazing. The Wagyu beef served on a sizzling salt platter at the table is pretty incredible and worth it for a splurge occasion. Delicious vermouth collection and dessert wines. The charcuterie board is well worth a try for the unusual flavor combinations. Hanger steak and prawns combo also delicious, though the prawns might’ve been cooked a minute more than I like. A green beans with ham dish was disappointing, as was the absence of the corn that we ordered. However, the server made up for that; when the corn came back on the menu and she boxed up a portion of it to go and comped it.
The BF ordered a custom Manhattan of the bartenders choosing for his dessert, and it was one of the best Manhattans we’ve ever tasted. I also had a great ice wine for my dessert.

Toro Bravo reincarnated! My wife and I used to LOVE going to Toro Bravo for special occasions before it closed and we were cautiously so excited to try this place! We were blown away! It’s hard to believe that the flavors we have missed were in Bend for so long. We ordered the tomato bread, salted cod croquettes, radicchio salad, potatas bravas, and the burger. The only complaint we had was that the burger was just a little overcooked. Otherwise perfect! Whenever we come back to Bend, we have already made a pact to come here every time!

Absolutely loved our experience at Bar RBC last night, from start to finish! It was our first time there and we will 100% be back. Our server, Cam, was amazing and walked us through the entire menu and provided excellent suggestions. When asked to surprise us with a favorite entree, she brought out the Ibérico secreto — we were absolutely amazedddd with this dish — you can’t miss it!!! The burrata, tuna tartar, and panna cotta are also lovely. They also have a dedicated GF menu which is appreciated. Thank you!

Great experience at Bar RBC. Tapas are my jam, and they have a great selection that is not unlike what one could have whilst in Spain. I would recommend any of the dishes we tried, and would go back to try again without hesitation. Nice, knowledgeable staff and high quality

Fantastic bar/restaurant. We love to have early dinner here. Sat at the bar the first time then sat at a table upstairs. Friendly staff who have time to chat. The drinks are wonderful.
Delicious food with a Spanish flair. We had bacon wrapped dates, tomato rubbed bread, tortilla, skirt steak and churros. Everything was well prepared with excellent flavor. This is a must if you are downtown.
Note: no reservations so plan accordingly. We had no problem getting a seat both times we went.
