Came here with a friend for dinner and had such a great experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant wasn’t too busy, so there was plenty of seating and it felt relaxed.
We ordered the Nacho Supreme and honestly… it was way better than expected. You’d think nachos are basic, but these were loaded and done right — crispy chips, sour cream, beans, pickled jalapeños, fresh tomato, cilantro, melted cheese, and guac. Every bite had flavor and the chips stayed crispy.
I got the chicken tacos with melted cheese and all the toppings. So good. The handmade tortillas really make a difference — soft, fresh, and full of flavor. My friend ordered the birria tacos and really enjoyed them as well.
We also shared a chicken torta, which was delicious and very filling. Paired everything with hibiscus water, which was refreshing and the perfect touch.
Overall, great food, friendly service, and a chill atmosphere. Definitely would come back.

Food was AMAZING and staff were very friendly.
Definitely have to order the El Pastor burrito Bowl. The Horchata was also VERY delicious. You can tell everything was made with love and authenticity of course.
For dessert I had the Tres Leches and WOW home made for sure and very sweet.

THIS PLACE SLAPS!! Brought my mom and family to celebrate my mom’s MA degree graduation/completion. We ordered Fajitas of all kinds even just veggies, nachos supreme, Guac & chips, and different margaritas and desserts. EVERYTHING was delicious and way better than other Mexican spots I’ve gone to. Definitely coming here more often or ordering delivery.

I travel to the Bay Ridge area often and whenever in town I have to have Taqueria Talavera delivered – they offer consistently delicious food. The portions are substantial and everything is always fresh. The carnitas nachos and fresh guacamole are my favorite but the flautas are close behind. I look forward to trying more dishes on my next visits to town.

Food is hands down some of the best Mexican food I tasted from Cali to NY! Who says NYC doesn’t have great Mexican food! You haven’t been here. The birria, fish and also the shrimp tacos will not only drop your jaw but leave your mouth watering. The carnitas and also the Al pastor tacos have good flavor. The chicken nachos are loaded and grilled to perfection. And don’t forget about their chicken chimichanga.
Cocktails will leave you needing a dd, but well worth it specially the peachirita with mezcal, overall a great dining experience.

The tacos were absolutely delicious. I’ve had many tacos and this was on my top 3 list. My fiancè and I had the Al pastor and the carne asada. They were both 10/10 but the carne asada had SO MUCH flavor. We also had the mango and passion fruit margarita and they were so delicious. The staff was very lovely and humble. We were given two complimentary shots so this is such a nice way to keep your customers. They know how to bond with their customers. Alfredo and the staff are so humble and welcoming.

WOW! The flavors and quality are! New favorite spot found. Service is superb. If you have any dietary restrictions, their menu will offer delicious alternatives. Authentic fresh hand made corn tortillas are hard to find! Love that it’s gluten-free for those that need it. Highly recommend!
