This place is such a wonderful addition to red bluff!!! The staff is very welcoming, they have created a lovely atmosphere. The food is consistently delicious, you can taste the heart that went into curating these recipes. The beer is great too!

Brought my 92 year old Hungarian friend who is a stubborn and picky woman when it comes to old world food. We were pleasantly surprised by the incredible menu and authentic flavor. We were treated kindly, impressed by the pricing. You really didn’t feel like you were in Red Bluff. So grateful to the family who created this place. We look forward to returning!

The food tasted like, living in a rustic cabin in the woods, in the best kinda way.

Fancy atmosphere, not overly fancy. Fancy food presentation. The service was warm and genuine.

I had the hunters stew as a main, and tried a bite of hungarian (beef) goulash, potato salad. All three were excellent. I prefered the hunters stew, as it tasted like a less salty meal (simply my preference). The sparce juniper berries were an awesome suprise in the stew. First time eating a juniper berry.

The peach cobbler was the best cobbler I’ve ever had. It was not overly sweet. Perfect level of sweetness. (Perhaps because september is peach season as well.) The cold icecream on the hot cobbler was incredible.

We absolutely loved it. Cant wait to return!
Yummy food and super pretty decor. Got the lemon cake for dessert and the beer cheese bites and calamari sticks. Both got the schnitzel entree and it was the best schnitzel we ever had.
Great to have this place in red bluff

We came to celebrate our anniversary, My husband grew up eating similar food and I was looking forward to trying something new. We had the cheese curds with tangy polish sauce and polish poutine for our starters and then ordered the Hungarian Goulash and the Cabbage Rolls, we loved everything. My husband was impressed by the freshness of their sauerkraut and the crepes we had for dessert were absolutely incredible, we tried both flavors on the menu and were blown away.

Found this restaurant through a friend. Great food and service. We went during lunch and ordered several appetizers and a main dish, including Calamari, Cabbage rolls, pretzels with beer cheese, and the Polish Poutine. Large portions with great flavors. The restaurant owner and hostess made us feel like family. We spent just over $50, and took half of the food home. Will definitely be going back next time I’m in the area

I was on my way to grab tacos and as I was walking, I saw a Polish restaurant and thought to myself, “When have I ever had Polish food?” So I rolled the dice went inside and was greeted warmly. Had a seat at the bar and messaged my one Polish friend for her recommendations. I didn’t know I was also conversing with the owner and his son who is the chef. I got the Polish salad which kick Russian salads butt. The Pickle Soup which is a Polish staple, and I see why. Finally, I had the schnitzel. To be honest, my expectations were low as I had the best Schnitzel in Frankfurt, Germany last year. So how was the schnitzel at Krystyna’s? Fast Forward to my physical therapy appointment an hour later. My therapist asked, how good was it? My reply, “Just leave. Leave this place, leave it all behind and go. Lock the door, tell the patients to go away.” That’s how good it was. Run, don’t walk to Krystyna’s.

I visited Krystyna’s Polish American Cuisine for the second time. This time on a slower weeknight, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.
I asked what the chef was most passionate about, and without hesitation, they recommended the gołąbki, traditional cabbage rolls stuffed with minced pork and beef. We ordered them half red sauce and half mushroom, and they were outstanding. Comforting, intensely flavorful, and clearly made with care and respect for tradition.
I also ordered the Lublin Schnitzel, which was excellent hearty, well-balanced, and beautifully prepared.
The owner, Jay (who I mistakenly called Brian, sorry again!), took time to talk with us about sourcing from local vendors, ingredient freshness, and staying true to authentic Polish flavors. What really stood out was his honesty and pride in the food. He even let me sample several different items, which speaks volumes about the hospitality here.
This was some of the best hospitality I’ve ever experienced. Genuine, welcoming, and passionate without being overbearing. The food was excellent, the atmosphere warm, and the care for both tradition and customers was obvious.
Krystyna’s is a true gem. If you value authentic food, thoughtful sourcing, and being treated like a guest rather than a transaction, please support this restaurant. I’ll absolutely be back

Interesting food! The ambiance and decor are lovely. The menu is limited but we tried a variety of options. The dill pickle soup is excellent! I had the cabbage rolls with mushroom gravy; not bad but the sauce was very thin, not like what was pictured online. My husband really liked the goulash. My mom doesn’t eat pork, so she just had the cucumber salad, fries, and soup. The fries were underwhelming but everything as a whole was pretty darn tasty. The staff said they may be expanding the menu in the future, so we’ll definitely be coming back. Locals (or anyone for that matter) should give this place a shot

Delicious authentic polish food just like my grandma used to make! Enjoyed the pierogis, hunters stew, stuffed cabbage and a delicious fresh berry blintz with lemon mascarpone cheese. Don’t miss this place- worth a drive to red bluff, for sure!
