Tacos Sincero’s popups are amazing, but this review is about the catering experience. Big surprise: it’s also amazing!
Sincere catered our wedding reception at Piedmont Community Hall and nailed exactly what we wanted: food that people would actually be excited about. He set up four taco options that were genuinely interesting—braised beef, butter chicken, mapo-flavored mushrooms, and the star of the show, the Don Camote sweet potato. We got a variety of delicious salads, and he was super accommodating to dietary restrictions: vegans and folks who cant’t do dairy or spice.
This is not your typical event food. It’s flavorful and creative, but still casual and approachable. There’s a good chance your guests will get to taste something they haven’t encountered before. I wanted the food to be a highlight of our party, and we got a ton of rave reviews from the guests.
Sincere himself is super chill and easy to work with. He’s traveled a lot and loves talking about food—you can tell he’s passionate about what he does without being precious about it.

Sincere came and made food for my sister’s 40 person baby shower and it was AN ABSOLUTE HIT. The butter chicken and sweet potato tacos were so flavorful. The side dishes (salad, beans, rice) were great. It took the party up a level. A very affordable way to impress your guests!

We did a staffed buffet catering from Tacos Sincero for a corporate party and it was a HIT! 🙂 Sincere is such a pleasure to work with – he was responsive, communicative and very accommodating of our dietary restrictions and space needs. We had 3 tostada flavors for our event and each were delicious and the plates were beautifully made! Service was fast and efficient in a grab-and-go setting; the tostadas were made according to guest flow so they stayed fresh and also ensured the lines weren’t long. Can’t say enough about the flavors, but that you just gotta try it! Looking forward to working on more events soon!
