Good variety on the menu of this locally owned and operated Italian kitchen. I say kitchen because table service is not really available. I had pizza from here before and it was tasty and to order. I heard that table service was added and my husband and I went in to try it out. There are two tables just next to the counter, so we sat down after ordering at the counter. In 20 minutes or so, our food was brought to us in to-go boxes along with bottled drinks. There are restrooms to use, but we felt more like we were eating in the break room and it was freezing cold, so we decided to take the food home to eat. I had the Italian sub, which had good ingredients, but was served on a cold, hard hoagie roll. My husband had the meatball sub. I would recommend that sandwich, as he said he believed them to be hand made, quality meatballs with very good sauce. We had cookies, which were excellent. They also have Hershey’s ice cream, and I will likely return for that on a hot day.

Martelli’s pizza is truly the best that I have ever had! My boyfriend and I have tried their pizza several times and are never disappointed. The fresh ingredients, soft yet crispy crust, and flavorful sauce make for the best-tasting pizza I’ve ever had. The owner, Amanda, is such a sweet woman, and you can definitely tell that she puts so much love and energy into her business. I’m even considering having them cater my wedding! 10/10

We’ve gotten take out twice now. The Italian Beef Pizza is really good. My kids like the Margherita pizza. The people that work there are so nice. They also have ice cream, cake pops, and cookies.

Had such a great experience tonight for takeout! I called in my order and was told 30 minutes for a pizza. I show up 30 minutes later and they tell me they are cutting it now! I’ve ordered takeout 5 times from here and each order was done on time and handed over with a smile! Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a quick affordable meal!

So this place just opened up and decided to swing by and grab a pizza. Was not Disappointed, staff was super friendly, price wasn’t bad at all and pizza was great! Will be back to try the pastas and salads, about time we had a great pizza place in candler.

I also came for the combo calzone, and while I do enjoy it somewhat, unfortunately, I must report that after trying it quite a number of times, I found the consistency to vary too much. There was one time I had it, and it was amazing. The next time, I was left feeling unsatisfied and even upset that I spent my money on this.
I am looking for a uniformly golden crust on the calzone, and at times, it was underdone. The small areas of goldenness seemed to tease you rudely, one bite having almost enough flavor and the next not nearly enough.
Far before posting this, I raised this concern in person and asked for the crust to be more done. I received one that looked almost exactly the same. I am not sure if there is an issue with the oven or what is going on, but this working formula is not working well. I feel that this could be consistently delicious, but some backend changes need to be done to make that a reality. The one pictured here is from a time when it was more on the done end, and it was good. I do not have another photo to compare it to; you’ll have to take my word or try it for yourself.

So happy to have a locally owned pizza option in Candler, and they’re delicious! My favorite is the BBQ chicken pizza, the hand tossed crust is great. Their wings are pretty good too.
